Farzad Rouhani
Farzad Rouhani
While many here at the Rio are preoccupied with the Main Event starting tomorrow, we've nevertheless attracted a decent-sized crowd for today's final table. Several players have supporters here, including Farzad Rouhani, who high-fived a few after doubling up with that rivered flush a short while ago.

Rouhani is seeking his second WSOP bracelet this summer, having won Event No. 10, the $2,500 Omaha/Seven Card Stud Hi-Low-8 or Better event.

Hand #17 – Corwin Cole

The button is with Jeff Courtney in Seat 7. The action folded around to David Daneshgar who completed from small blind and Corwin Cole checked his option in the big blind.

They saw a flop of {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}. Daneshgar checked and Cole bet out 47,000 which was enough to force a fold and take down the pot.

Hand #18 – Andrey Zaichenko

The button is with David Daneshgar in Seat 7. Matt Matros raised from under the gun to 75,000, and Andrey Zaichenko reraised to 200,000 from middle position. It folded back around to Matros, who let it go as well.

Hand #19 – Corwin Cole

The button is with Corwin Cole in Seat 9. From the cutoff position, David Daneshgar opened with a raise to 77,000. Corwin Cole then reraised to 225,000 from the button. The blinds quickly folded as did Daneshgar to give the pot to Cole.

Hand #20 – Matt Matros

The button is with Dan Heimiller in Seat 1. Current chip leader Corwin Cole raised to 75,000 from the cutoff, and Matt Matros, just a few chips behind Cole, reraised to 275,000 total from the small blind. Farzad Rouhani got out of the way, and Cole let it go.

Hand #21 – Scott Sitron

The button is with Matt Matros in Seat 2. Scott Sitron raised it up from under the gun to 75,000. David Daneshgar made the call as did Andrey Zaichenko from the big blind.

The flop came {A-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}. Zaichenko checked to Sitron who fired a continuation bet of 125,000. Both opponents folded and Sitron takes it down.

Hand #24 – Jeff Courtney

The button is with Scott Sitron in Seat 5. Andrey Zaichenko raised to 80,000 from the cutoff, and Jeff Courtney reraised to 275,000 from the small blind. David Daneshgar folded from the big blind, and the action was back on Zaichenko.

Zaichenko scratched his head, rechecked his cards, and after a minute or so let it go.
