Dan Harmetz Doubles Up

After Garrett Dennie raised to 18,000 Dan Harmetz moved in for his last 54,000 from the small blind. Dennie called and his {5-Hearts} {5-Clubs} was racing against Harmetz's {A-Spades} {Q-Hearts}. Harmetz flopped top two on the {A-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {7-Spades} flop and filled up when the {Q-Clubs} fell on the turn. Harmetz is now up to 112,000 while Dennie saw his stack reduced to just 22,500.

Mimi Tran Flexes Some Muscle

Mimi Tran raised to 16,000 from early position. Action folded around to David Daneshgar in the small blind and he reraised to 61,000. Tran moved all in for 167,500 total and Daneshgar folded. Tran is now sitting on 230,000 chips while Daneshgar is left with just 116,000.

Garrett Dennie Eliminated

Garrett Dennie moved all in under the gun for his last 18,500 holding {A-Spades} {7-Clubs} and Farzad Rouhani called in the big blind with {J-Clubs} {9-Spades}. Dennie paired up on the {10-Hearts} {8-Hearts} {2-Spades} flop but after the {3-Hearts} fell on the turn Rouhani caught the {9-Hearts} on the river to take the pot and end Dennie's day.

Toby Auth Doubles Through Stuart Pfeifer

Toby Auth raised to 19,000 from middle position. Action folded around to Stuart Pfeifer on the button and he moved all in for 27,500. The blinds folded but Auth made the call. The players showed:

Auth: {10-?} {10-?}
Pfeifer: {A-?} {Q-?}

The board ran out {9-?} {8-?} {9-?} {5-?} {3-?} and Auth's tens were best. He doubled up to about 50,000 and left Pfeifer crippled with roughly 8,000 chips.

Jonathan Dull Eliminated

Jonathan Dull was our latest casualty. He pushed all in before the flop with {10-?} {9-?} and got looked up by Scott Sitron who held {A-?} {8-?}. Dull missed the board and was eliminated. Sitron surged to roughly 480,000 chips on the hand.

Matt Matros Eliminates Scott Potempa

Matt Matros raised from the hijack and Scott Potempa moved in for his last 55,000 from the big blind. Matros called to find that his {K-Hearts} {Q-Spades} was dominated by Potempa's {A-Spades} {Q-Clubs}. But after a {7-Clubs} {8-Hearts} {5-Clubs} flop and the {J-Clubs} on the turn Matros caught the {K-Diamonds} on the river to eliminate Potempa and build his stack all the way up to 275,000.

Stefan Martin Eliminated

Stefan Martin and Scott Sitron just played a bit hand that resulted in Martin's departure. They got it all in preflop with Sitron having the bigger chip stack and the made hand. They showed:

Sitron: {6-?} {6-?}
Martin: {A-?} {K-?}

The board came {9-?} {5-?} {2-?} {6-?} {4-?} and Sitron's set was good. Martin was eliminated on the hand and Sitron is now the clear chip leader with roughly 560,000.
