Play Resumes

Play has recommenced after the break with around 380 players remaining in the hunt for the bracelet. We'll be playing another two levels this evening before play concludes for the day.

Now They Can Have That Chat

Amir Vahedi was all in blind for his last 200 chips. There were 5 people in the pot.

The final board was {2-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} {8-Hearts} {3-Hearts} {8-Diamonds}

Vahedi showed {4-Spades} {7-Spades} {9-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} and another player tabled {A-Clubs} {3-Clubs} {8-Spades} {4-Diamonds}, sending Vahedi to the rail.

Now maybe Vahedi can go have a talk with Robert "Chip Burner" Turner about how Omaha is a sucker's game.

Katja Thater Quartered and Crippled

Katja Thater was all in on a board of {A-Clubs} {7-Hearts} {J-Spades} {6-Clubs} {10-Spades} and called in two spots.

Thater flipped over {8-Hearts} {8-Clubs} {2-Spades} {3-Diamonds} for the nut low. One of her opponents showed {Q-Spades} {K-Diamonds} {9-Spades} {10-Hearts} for the nut straight while her other opponent turned over {A-Spades} {2-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} {9-Hearts} to share the nut low with Thater. After the hand, Thater is left with only 1,200 in chips.

Candy.....Cigarettes....Roses???

Something that has been a mystery for a bit now has been some of the roaming candy girls. They are selling the typical items such as candy, gum, and cigarettes. One thing that we have noticed is that they are also selling roses. We are not sure as to why this is. Perhaps they are trying to drop a hint to husbands and boyfriends to do something nice for their significant others. We will try and find out and let you know when we find out.
