Bord, James Bord, Eliminated

The eliminations continue. James Bord got all of his chips in preflop holding {A-?} {Q-?}. As these things so often go, he found himself in a race situation against Nathan Templeton's pocket nines. Templeton hit a nine on the turn to seal the deal and eliminate Bord from the tournament. He collected $8,604 at the cage.

Templeton is up to 155,000 in chips.

Fuller's Kicker One Pip Too Small

Thomas Fuller
Thomas Fuller
Thomas Fuller and Kevin MacPhee each brought a queen to the party when the flop came {3-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} {4-Hearts}. After all the money went in, it turned out that Fuller's nine kicker on his queen was one rank lower than MacPhee's ten kicker. The board ran out {A-Diamonds} {K-Clubs}, and MacPhee's Q-Q-A-K-10 bested Fuller's Q-Q-A-K-9.

Fuller dropped to 130,000 chips while MacPhee increased to 195,000.

Andrew Fegan Muscles Rep

Meet Andrew Fegan
Meet Andrew Fegan
Andrew Fegan raised to 8,500 before the flop and was called by Jason DeWitt and Rep Porter in the big blind.

The flop came {9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}, Porter checked and Fegan bet 17,000 and was called by Porter.

The turn was the {a-Spades} and this time, Porter led out, betting 27,500 into Fegan, who paused in thought for a minute before re-raising to 75,000, sending Porter into the tank.

Porter finally folded and Fegan — who has one tournament cash according to a superficial Internet search — raked the pot to move his stack to 240,000. Porter dropped to 155,000.

Milisits Eliminated

Ryan Milisits is out. His kings could not dodge the Big Slick of Peter Marr after an ace hit the flop. Marr had Milisits covered by just 300 chips. Milisits will earn $8,604 for his troubles.

Marr, meanwhile, increased his stack to almost 200,000.

Last Woman Standing

Stephanie Klempner
Stephanie Klempner
Stephanie Klempner is the lone remaining female in the today's field. She has been somewhat short-stacked for most of the day but has made the most of her cards and her position. With five tables remaining, it's still anyone's tournament. If Klempner can manage to pick up a timely double, she may be in a position to go deep.

Tablemates Bullying Rep Porter

Don't pick on Rep Porter
Don't pick on Rep Porter
Rep Porter lost another chunk of his stack, trying to lead out to take a pot and getting re-raised. On this occasion, Jason DeWitt bet preflop and after a flop of {8-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} but when the {6-Clubs} fell on the turn, Porter bet 50,000 into a pot of about 70,000. DeWitt went into the tank before going all in, sending Porter into the tank for almost five minutes. Porter folded and his stack dropped to 75,000. DeWitt is up to 384,000.

Recent Eliminations

Richard Lee eliminated
Richard Lee eliminated
Richard Lee is out. His {A-Hearts} {10-Spades} was overtaken by Andrew Fegan's {Q-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} when Fegan flopped a flush draw and filled it on the river.

Christian Closson is also out. He got all in preflop and was in the lead with {A-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} against Nathan Templeton's {8-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds}, but Closson's hand didn't improve and Templeton's did -- when Templeton flopped a seven.

Lee and Closson each earn $8,604.

Fegan Running Hot

Patzner Eliminated in 25th
Patzner Eliminated in 25th
Fresh off his elimination of Richard Lee, Andrew Fegan knocked out another player.

Fegan and Thomas Patzner were all in preflop, Fegan with J-J and Patzner with 9-9.

The flop came Q-8-10 and Fegan called out for Patzner to hit his set.

The nine came on the turn and the river was a king, giving Fegan a straight and moving his stack to about 415,000.

Patzner is gone in 25th place, taking home $8,604.
