Park-ing Ticket

Matt Parker is the latest casualty as the carnage continues, he pushed for 11,500 from the button with {K-Hearts} {9-Spades} and was eventually looked up by the big blind's {A-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds}.

The flop was {7-Hearts} {3-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} which helped neither, but Parker seemed to have caught a break with the {9-Hearts} turn. But another heart came on the river, the {8-Hearts}, to send him out and over to the offical desk with his ticket to collect his winnings.

Rick Rolls Out of Here

Rick Haughey has been knocked out after being all-in with {7-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} on a {10-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} board but running into {6-Spades} {6-Clubs}.

Unfortunately for him, no sevens or eights appeared on the turn or river and he was eliminated.

Co-Win!

A huge pot between Andrew Cohen and, we think Daniel Price, has ended in a victory for the former. It was {A-?} {A-?} against {A-?} {Q-?} and Price paid the erm...cost of being unable to outdraw his opponent's bullets.

Cohen looks to be the chip leader with about 200,000. On top of this, Paul Peterson has just been moved next to him with an almost equally big stack...

Mason Hammers Out Lopez

After having his {Q-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} cracked by {A-Spades} {10-Spades}, the last of Michael Lopez' chips went in with {A-Spades} {4-Hearts} against Rob Mason's {K-Spades} {10-Spades} but lost out on a {9-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} {K-Diamonds} board.

In ahead twice and losing both times, but that's poker.

Fisch but No Chips

Dave Fischer got it in with the best hand against Joe Devlin holding {6-?} {6-?} against {Q-Hearts} {9-Diamonds}, but a {4-Hearts} {9-Clubs} {2-Hearts} {9-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} board later was enough to house Devlin up and send Fischer packing.

Incidentally, the latter of these started with just 7,000 coming back today. Quite a decent recovery from less than five big blinds.

Not His Day

Ming Day is out, throwing his last 4,400 in from the big blind against three limpers. They all called and a board of {Q-Diamonds} {J-Spades} {3-Spades} {J-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} was checked down by all and won by the small blind who flipped {Q-Spades} {J-Clubs}.

Day checked his cards, needing the case Queen, but could only show {5-Diamonds} {2-Clubs} having moved in blind.

Tigran's Stack Karaks Up

Tigran Karakashyan, who had just lost a pot to a short stack with {A-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} against {A-Clubs} {10-Hearts} on a {Q-Spades} {9-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} board, was all-in moments later.

He moved in from early position with {A-Clubs} {K-Clubs} and was given a spin by the small blind's {J-Spades} {J-Diamonds} which held on a {4-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} {8-Spades} {10-Clubs} {9-Clubs} board. He was eliminated.

Bottom Pair FTW!

UTG+1 raises to 6,000. It gets called in three spots - midposition, the hijack and the big blind.

The flop is {7-Clubs} {8-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds} and it's checked to the original raiser, who moves all-in for 39,600. The midposition player, covering, moves all-in behind him. The hijack says, "Wow," and then folds. Then Andrew Cohen, the chip leader, in the big blind says, "That was my move," before folding {8-?} {7-?} face up.

The original raiser shows {J-Clubs} {10-Clubs} and the midposition shows {A-Clubs} {3-Clubs} for a bigger flush draw. The turn is the {4-Spades} and the river is the {3-Hearts}. Cohen looks very disappointed with his fold after the hand.
