Ding!

From late position, Clayton Bell opened the action with a raise. Two seats over, the player on the button put in a re-raise, and the action came back around to Bell. After a moment of consideration, he decided to make a stand, sliding all 14,900 of his chips into the middle. His opponent quickly called, and Bell's tournament life was on the line.

Showdown
Bell: {J-Hearts} {9-Hearts}
Opponent: {A-Spades} {K-Hearts}

The flop was disastrous for the all-in player, coming out {K-Clubs} {3-Clubs} {2-Clubs} to put him in terrible shape to survive. The turn provided a bit of help though; the {Q-Hearts} gave Bell a few outs to the gutshot straight. And wouldn't you know it, the {10-Diamonds} struck the river like a bolt of lightning, giving Clayton Bell the winning straight and sending his opponent storming across the room in disgust.
