Pilar Tuck'd

Tucker
Tucker
Last lady standing Pilar Tucker is standing no more. She shoved very reasonably in mid position with pocket {J-Clubs} {J-Hearts}, but David Mandt woke up with pocket {K-Spades} {K-Hearts} in the small blind, and that was that.

Board: {9-Spades} {7-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} {5-Hearts}

We are now down to 19 and bubbling for the final two tables.

Sudar Death

Busto
Busto
...And we are down to two tables.

Jovan Sudar pushed in early position, and got looked up by Adam Adler a couple seats down.

Sudar: {7-Clubs} {7-Spades}
Adler: {K-Hearts} {J-Hearts}

Board: {9-Clubs} {K-Spades} {2-Spades} {10-Hearts} {10-Diamonds}

Thus Sudar is out, Adler is up to 700,000, and there has been a redraw for our last two tables.

Harb Work

Chip leader Michael Dyer raised in mid position, but was met with a reraise from Adam Adler in the small blind -- and then a shove from Anthony Harb in the big blind for 580,000 total. Dyer swiftly got out of the way, and Adler tanked up for a while, before eventually passing.

Von Sachsen Knackered

Runner-runner OUT
Runner-runner OUT
Olav von Sachsen raised under the gun, and it folded around to Anthony Harb on the button who moved all in to cover von Sachsen. A swift call, and they were coinflipping...

Von Sachsen: {J-Spades} {J-Clubs}
Harb: {A-Clubs} {K-Clubs}

Flop: {2-Spades} {5-Spades} {J-Diamonds}

Harb: "Aww."

Turn: {Q-Hearts}

River: {10-Hearts}

Harb: "YESSSSSSS!!!!" and similar, as he made runner-runner straight to knock von Sachsen out. He immediately apologized for his outburst, but received a warning for excessive celebration anyway.

Koon Down Too

Dressed for final table, short of chips though
Dressed for final table, short of chips though
We have also lost Jason Koon from the same table, and Scott Hall has been moved over there to balance the tables. 16 runners remain.

Doubling Best Thing to Happen to Carlson All Day

Had a bad day
Had a bad day
Mike Carlson, down to 250,000 or so, open-shoved, only for Michael Dyer to re-shove to his left. Everyone else folded. The cards were flipped, and Carlson sighed.

Carlson: {A-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds}
Dyer: {A-Hearts} {10-Spades}

Flop: {8-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {9-Clubs}

Carlson: "Pretty good."

Turn: {9-Diamonds}

Carlson: "Not bad."

River: {7-Spades}

Carlson: "Pretty good. That's the best thing that's happened to me all day."
