Ada-Mandt

Anthony Harb raised under the gun and then quickly called the push from David Mandt in the small blind.

Mandt: {10-Clubs} {10-Diamonds}
Harb: {3-Clubs} {3-Diamonds}

Board: {K-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} {K-Spades}

Mandt doubles to 550,000, but no feeling too sorry for Harb, anyone -- he's still on 1,050,000.

David Mandt Eliminated in 11th Place ($41,640)

A poker player and a gentleman.
A poker player and a gentleman.
"Oh damn," were the words of Anthony Harb as he called David Mandt' push and they turned over the cards.

Harb: {A-Diamonds} {Q-Spades}
Mandt: {A-Hearts} {K-Clubs}

Flop: {6-Spades} {Q-Clubs} {10-Diamonds}

Harb: "YES! Hold hold hold..."

Turn: {6-Diamonds}

Harb: "Hold hold hold HOLD HOLD HOLD HOLD HOLD HOLD..."

River: {10-Hearts}

With a polite, "Nice playing with you guys," out goes David Mandt in 11th, and we are redrawing for final table.

We're scheduled to restart at 15:40pm (ten minutes from now) with 21 minutes left of level 23.

No Change Yet

The action so far has been rather cagey, as befits a fairly deep-stacked WSOP final table -- we haven't seen a flop so far, every preflop raise merely resulting in the raiser picking up the blinds and antes.

Don't forget, there's just a little difference between the $41,640 for 10th place and the whopping $569,199 for first...

No Flops Yet, But Action Nonetheless

Michael Dyer raised, and it folded right around to Jonathan McGowan in the big blind, who pushed all in for another 420,000 -- his favorite move, from what we've seen of him today. Dyer gave it some thought -- but eventually folded, and McGowan took the tasty chips.

Action! McGowan Ends Up on Top

A flop! Blinds Jonathan McGowan and Anthony Harb limp/checked their way to it, and it was exactly {6-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} {K-Spades}. McGowan bet out, and Harb called. A turn!

Turn: {7-Diamonds}

Now McGowan bet out 105,000, and again Harb called. Guess what's coming next...

River: {5-Clubs}

McGowan now took his time -- and after a while, announced all in for 445,000. It was Harb's turn to tank now... and after a short time he passed.

Mike Carlson Eliminated in 10th Place ($41,640)

10th place
10th place
Mike Carlson raised, and and small blind Peter Rho was the only caller.

Rho checked the {4-Spades} {A-Spades} {J-Hearts} flop, only for Carlson to move all in for 742,000...

...and a call!

Carlson: {K-Spades} {8-Spades}
Rho: {J-Clubs} {J-Spades}

Wow.

Turn: {6-Diamonds} (the TD announced the {6-Spades}, but that was not the case)

River: {A-Diamonds}

Thus we lose our 10th place unofficial final tablist, and we proceed to play the official, nine-handed final table after a short break.
