Andrew Lichtenberger Applies All In Presure

Andrew Lichtenberger
Andrew Lichtenberger
Andrew Lichtenberger opened the pot for a raise and the small blind reraised to 9,700. Andrew made the call and they saw a flop of {A-Clubs} {K-Spades} {8-Diamonds} . Both players checked to the turn - the {4-Hearts} . The small blind led out for 18,000 and Andrew made the call.

The river brought the {2-Spades} and Lichtenberger shoved all in for 48,000. The small blind went into the tank for a few minutes, even tabling the {A-Spades} (even though rules state a player can not expose a hole card during play). Shortly after he threw his hand away and Andrew took down the pot.

Andrew Lichtenberger is now at 98,000

Lichtenberger Loves The All In

From under the gun, Andrew Lichtenberger raised to 4,800. Alex Keating three bet from the button to 14,000 and Andrew Lichtenberger thinks for a minute before moving all in for 115,000. With only 61,000 behind Keating immediately threw his cards into the muck.

Cory Carroll Eliminated

Cory Carroll was all in on a board of {9-Hearts} {9-Clubs} {8-Clubs} with {10-Spades} {9-Spades} against a player with pocket queens. Carroll was looking good to double up until a third queen hit on the river, giving his opponent a full house.

Carroll is eliminated only a few spots before the money.

Unlucky Sevens for Childs

With the board showing {J-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}, Dustin Pattinson had pushed all in and Lee Childs had a tough decision, as calling would mean committing the last of his chips.

Childs ultimately made the call, showing {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}. Pattinson showed {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}, and Childs was in dire straits. The river was the {Q-Diamonds}, and Childs goes out here on the cash bubble. Patterson now has 165,000.

We're currently four eliminations away from the money.

One Tough Cookie

Nikolay Evdakov just ordered a cup of chamomile tea (with lemon) to go along with the huge macadamia nut cookie he brought back from the break.

In one of the first hands back from the break, Evdakov raised to 8,000 from under the gun, and each of the players around the table decided against tangling with the Russian. He's now up around 100,000.
