Play Ends for the Night

Day One of Event 13 wraps up with about 180 players remaining out of 1,088 that entered the tournament. Phil Ivey is still in contention to claim back to back bracelets, ending the night with a healthy stack of 63,000. However, several players were able to eclipse the 100,000 mark to climb to the top of the leader board. A full chip count and seating list will be posted later tonight.

With 117 players to make the money, the bubble should be reached within the first few hours of play tomorrow. A finish in the money will guarantee a payday of $4,929, but players looking past a min-cash will have a $506,786 first place goal in mind.
