Baron Bashful as Quoss Collects Another Pot

Isaac Baron raised to 100,000 from under the gun and Fabian Quoss made the call in the big blind and our two chip leaders clashed.

The flop landed {5-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Quoss checked to Baron, who bet out 145,000. Quoss took his time once again before making the call.

The turn was the {5-Hearts} putting a pair on board. Quoss checked and Baron checked behind as the {6-Diamonds} fell on the river. Once again both players checked.

Neither player wanted to show, and in the end Baron convinced Quoss to flip {A-Clubs}{J-Spades} which was the best hand.

A Pot for Sowers

When Fabian Quoss raised to 100,000 from the cutoff, Mike Sowers made the call from the button and we went heads up to a flop of {5-Hearts}{J-Spades}{9-Clubs}.

Both players checked, and checked again when the {4-Hearts} came on the turn. With the {6-Hearts} on the river, Sowers led for 245,000 and Quoss released his cards.

Lightning Never Strikes Twice but Thunder Doubles!

Thomas Keller
Thomas Keller
Isaac Baron raised to 100,000 from the cutoff and the action folded to Thomas Keller, who moved all in from the big blind for an additional 175,000 chips. Baron was priced in to call and the cards were tabled:

Baron: {Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Keller: {A-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {7-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{2-Spades} and Keller made two pair to comprehensively claim the pot and doubled through to nearly 600,000 chips.

Baron Gets Some Back

After doubling up Thomas Keller a few hands ago, Isacc Baron called Fabian Quoss' small blind raise of 120,000 from the big blind.

Both players checked the flop of {5-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Baron led for 115,000 after Quoss checked the {5-Clubs} on the turn. Both players checked the {3-Hearts} on the river and Baron showed {A-Spades}{9-Hearts} to win the pot with ace high.

Sowers Applies Pressure

Mike Sowers raised to 100,000 from the button and action folded to Lika Gerasimova, who reraised to 250,000 from the big blind.

Action passed back to Sowers who reraised again, pushing an additional 400,000 into the pot and forcing a fold from Gerasimova.

Kicker Problems Leave Baron Crippled

Brian Lemke
Brian Lemke
Isaac Baron opened the action with a raise to 100,000 in middle position and Brian Lemke made the call. The blinds folded and the two players took a heads-up flop of {2-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}.

Baron was first to speak and led out for 140,000. Lemke considered his options and decided that raising was the right one, making it 400,000 to play. Baron ruffled his chips as he went into the tank, clearly having a big decision to make. Baron decided to play and moved all in. Lemke snap-called.

Baron: {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}
Lemke: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}

The turn brought the {7-Spades} and the river the {5-Diamonds} and Lemke celebrates with his rail as his queen kicker plays, leaving Baron crippled. Lemke will now be up to a very healthy 2.5 million chips.

Isaac Baron - 7th Place
Isaac Baron moved all in from under the gun for his last 210,000 and three players made the call in an attempt to knock out the young gun.

The three live players checked down a board of {J-Spades}{Q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Clubs} and Fabian Quoss tabled {Q-Hearts}{10-Spades} for the best hand as the other three players mucked.

Baron is sent to the rail in 7th place for a collect of $88,784 in prize money.

Keller Squeezes a Pot

When Brian Lemke raised to 130,000 from the button and Mike Sowers flat called from the small blind, Thomas Keller decided to push all in for an additional 470,000 from the big blind.

It was a good decision, as he forced two folds and added valuable chips to his stack.
