Keller Doubles Through Gerasimova

Thomas Keller
Thomas Keller
Thomas Keller shoved his 240,000 chip stack into the middle from the small blind and Lika Gerasimova took some time before finally calling from the big blind.

Keller: {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}
Gerasimova: {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}

The {K-Spades} in the window brought an audible groan from Keller, but he quickly cheered as the rest of the flop came {4-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. The {10-Diamonds} and {J-Spades} completed the board and Keller chipped up to 520,000 while Gerasimova slipped back to 460,000.

Play Remains Tight

With 10 players remaining, most pots are ending without a flop as a single raise is often enough to steal the blinds and antes.

That said, the lack of action hasn't prevented the table from drawing a sizable crowd, with people stacked three deep on the rail to watch the action.

On the Move

Play has been suspended as the final 10 players are all being moved to the televised final table.

Play should resume in about 10 minutes.

TV Table Preparations

The nature of TV production is that things take time. The players have been miked up, completed bio sheets, cameras have been prepared and lighting checked. The players have taken their seats and hopefully we're not too far away from recommencing this final table. Stay tuned!

Still Tight

Play on the televised table hasn't changed. We've yet to see a flop as a single preflop raise remains enough to steal the blinds and antes.

Our First Flop

It took almost 10 hands before we saw our first flop on the feature table. Action started when Brian Lemke raised to 76,000 from early position. It folded back to Fabian Quoss who re-raised to 250,000 from the small blind and lemke made the call.

On a flop of {6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}, Quoss bet 300,000 and Lemke took nearly a minute before making the call. Quoss then shoved his remaining 1.4 million into the middle when the {4-Diamonds} arrived on the turn. Lemke tanked again before finally releasing his hand.

Lemke is down to about 600,000.

David Pham Eliminated in 10th Place ($47,501) and Christian Iacobellis Eliminated in 9th Place ($66,403)

Christian 'Da_Professional' Iacobellis - 9th Place
Christian 'Da_Professional' Iacobellis - 9th Place
Play folded to David Pham in middle position who moved all in for his last 155,000. Isaac Baron moved all in from the button and Christian Iacobellis announced he was also all in from the small blind!

Pham: {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Baron: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Iacobellis: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}

The board fell {8-Spades}{J-Spades}{6-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades} and the pocket tens of Baron hold. He has both opponents covered with Pham being eliminated in 10th place for $47,501 and Iacobellis in 9th place for $66,403.
