Andy Black Rivers a Flush

We caught this hand in progress as Andy Black and his opponent both checked the turn on a board of {4-Spades}{3-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}.

The player in early position led out for 1,400 when the {J-Spades} fell on the river and Black called, showing {10-Spades}{8-Spades} for the flush.

Black is now sitting with about 17,000 chips.

Aces Hold for Elky

When the player in middle position raised to 150 preflop, Bertrand "Elky" Grospellier re-raised to 525. Action folded back to the original raiser, who made the call.

Both players checked the flop of {9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and the middle position player bet 700 when the {4-Spades} appeared on the turn. Elky called, and called another 1,600 bet after the {Q-Clubs} hit the river.

The first player tabled {10-Clubs}{J-Clubs} for second pair, which wasn't enough to beat Elky's {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}. Elky now has 18,500 chips.

Rousso Takes Another Pot

Vanessa Rousso called a preflop raise of 425 from the big blind, as did another player who had limped from under-the-gun.

After the original raiser bet 900 on a flop of {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{5-Spades}, Rousso put in a min check-raise to 1,800. The player under-the-gun folded, and the middle position player called.

Rousso led for 2,500 at the {Q-Spades} on the turn, forcing a fold. The pot brought her chip stack to about 17,000.

Madsen Doubles Up His Short Stack

Jeff Madsen got short stacked early on, but is managing to hold on.

After the cutoff raised to 400 preflop, Madsen pushed all in for 1,975 more from the button. He got the call and the hands were shown.

Cutoff: {Q-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Madsen: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}

When the board ran out {J-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, Madsen held on and built his stack back to 5,000.

Andy Black's Running Well

Praz Bansi raised to 350 preflop and got called by Andy Black.

Black called another 550 after a flop of {Q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and both players then checked the {3-Diamonds} on the turn. Bansi checked the {A-Clubs} on the river and folded to Black's 1,000 chip bet.

Black now has a stack of about 32,000.
