Brown Turns to Gold

Collette Brown didn't start today as one of the big stacks, but she's amassed one now. She managed to call another player's all in push preflop and found the shortie completely dominating her, but Brown pulled a broadway straight out of thin air to knock the other lady out and put her up to 112,000.

Brown: {K-Spades} {J-Spades}
Woefully outdrawn opponent: {K-Hearts} {Q-Spades}

Board: {10-Spades} {A-Diamonds} {4-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds}

Kling On

Lauren Kling is up to 45,000 after re-shoving to a short-stack push. On their backs and Kling's pocket {9-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} were up against her opponent's {K-Clubs} {Q-Clubs}, but a harmless {10-Spades} {8-Spades} {10-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} board later and the short stack's chips belonged to Kling.

Zaro-Sky High

Patti Zarosky is up to 90,000 after busting another player. She raised to 5,000 under the gun and then called the push from her opponent -- then promptly sucked out to send the other lady hurtling to the rail.

Zarosky: {9-Clubs} {9-Spades}
Unfortunate bustee: {J-Diamonds} {J-?}

Board: SMACK! {9-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {10-Hearts} {2-Spades} {3-Clubs}

Dinner Time

Wow, we've been playing a whole two hours, so it's high time for another break. 60 minutes for dinner, and then we'll be back at the tables.

Kruze-ing for a Bruising

Kruze on down the line
Kruze on down the line
Julie Kruze shoved under the gun and it folded around to Alice Talbot in the small blind who gave it some thought and then called. Kim Cunningham unexpectedly called all in from the big blind, and they were on their backs.

Kruze: {A-Hearts} {9-Clubs}
Talbot: {K-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds}
Cunningham: {K-Clubs} {K-Spades}

Board: a nobody-hit-anything {7-Clubs} {2-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} {6-Clubs} {6-Diamonds}

Thus Cunningham tripled up, while Kruze had to be content with the 18,000 side pot. Clearly running bad, she was then immediately moved to another table with her sad little stack.

Vinlovin' It

Laura Rody has gone bust in rather unfortunate circumstances. She got it in with {7-Spades} {7-Diamonds} against Jennifer Vinlove's {A-Clubs} {5-Diamonds}, but got, for want of a better phrase, absolutely screwed by the {Q-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} {2-Clubs} {3-Clubs} {4-Clubs} board.

Vinlove is up to 68,000.
