Here's Something You Don't See Very Often

Poker players like to complain about dealers -- they've flipped a card, they're too slow, they bring players bad luck or the players plain don't like how they do things.

So it was enormously refreshing to hear one of the players approach one of the floormen for no other reason than to praise the dealer at his table, a gentleman named Arron. "He doesn't make a mistake, his motions are crisp..." the gent was saying. The floorman was clearly taken aback as, like I said, that's not usually what players want to talk to floormen about. How very refreshing.
