Clements Goes from Grain to Bowl of Rice, then Back to Grain

Clements: Riding the pokercoaster
Clements: Riding the pokercoaster
Scott Clements was in 'wait for it...wait for it...all-in as soon as possible in limit format' mode with just 4,600. Fortunately for him, the game had just switched to Omaha hi-lo and the antes weren't eroding his stack at every hand for a short while. He bided his time for two hands, then raised preflop over utg limper who was probably Stuart Spivack, if my seating plan can still be relied upon.

Clements raised by throwing his remaining stack over the line - but this being limit it actually took until the turn for him to get the full call out of Spivack.

Clements: {3-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {K-Hearts} {K-Diamonds}
Spivack: {3-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {2-Clubs} {10-Spades}

The board: {5-Hearts} {2-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} {7-Diamonds}
At this point Clements had the low already, but two little pair were beating his Kings with flush and straight draws. The {K-Clubs} on the river cemented his scoop, though, and he was back to 11k.

Almost immediately thereafter, Carol Kline all but busted him in a Stud hand, making a straight and a six-low and leaving him with an-all-but-felted 100! What a day.
