Lemke vs. Stokes; Lemke Doubles to 200,000

After a flop of {Q-Hearts} {9-Clubs} {7-Diamonds}, Jamin Stokes checked and Brian Lemke bet 10,000. Stokes made the call and they saw the {10-Diamonds} fall on the turn. Stokes checked again and Lemke made a pot sized bet of 30,000. Stokes smooth called.

The river brought the {8-Hearts} and after another check from Stokes, Lemke moved all in for 61,000. Stokes called, but never showed his hand after Lemke flipped over {Q-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} for a straight.

Brian Lemke - 200,000
Jamin Stokes - 280,000

Parker vs. Pellegrino: A Big Swing

We pick up a big pot on the turn on Table 77. The board consists of {4-Spades} {J-Clubs} {J-Hearts} {8-Diamonds}, and the action is on Bryan Pellegrino. He checked, and Brock Parker put out a bet of 19,000. Pellegrino opted to check-raise to 44,000, and Parker made the call.

The river brought the {Q-Spades}. Pellegrino fired 67,000 chips at the pot. With little delay, Parker moved all in, and Pellegrino had to let his hand go.

After that exchange, Parker is up to 400,000, leaving Pellegrino with just 80,000.

Johnny Chan vs. Jimmy D'Ambrosio; an Odd Line for Jimmy D

Johnny Chan
Johnny Chan
Johnny Chan raised to 6,000 from the button and Jimmy D'Ambrosio called. The flop came {10-Hearts} {7-Spades} {2-Hearts} and Jimmy D check-called an 8,000 bet from Chan. The turn brought the {K-Clubs} and again Jimmy D checked.

The river was the {K-Diamonds} and Jimmy D bet the minimum, 2,000. Chan didn't fall for the ridicliously small post-oak bluff and reraised to 17,000. Jimmy D called.

Chan showed {10-Clubs} {8-Hearts} and Jimmy D mucked his cards.

Johnny Chan - 280,000
Jimmy D - 200,000

Mike Caro was all in once again, this time holding {A-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} against Alexey Popov's {A-Clubs} {K-Clubs}. The board ran {9-Clubs} {8-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} {5-Diamonds} to give Caro the come from behind win and double him up to the chip lead.

On the next hand, it was Popov who was all in with {Q-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds}. Caro had shoved with {A-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds}, and it held up on a board of {2-Diamonds} {2-Spades} {7-Spades} {9-Spades} {4-Spades}.

Finally. Finally, Mike Caro has won the last match of the previous round. The staff is allowing him to have a 20-minute break before he gets started on his next match.

Boosted J Swiftly Dispatches with Dragan Galic

Dragan Galic took a big hit early on in his match with Justin "Boosted J" Smith. Galic's pocket kings were snapped off by Smith's {A-?} {3-?} to take half of his starting stack.

A few hands later, Galic played another big pot. On a flop of {2-Hearts} {J-Spades} {9-Diamonds}, Galic got the rest of his 110,000 chips into the middle. Smith snapped him with {A-Spades} {A-Hearts}, and the rest of the board would run dry.

With that, Dragan Galic becomes our first elimination of the fourth round. Boosted J is moving on.
