Justin Smith vs. William Thorson;

Justin "BoostedJ" Smith
Justin "BoostedJ" Smith
From the button, Justin "BoostedJ" Smith raised to 4,000 and was called by William Thorson. The flop came {7-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} and both players checked.

The turn brought the {8-Clubs} and Thorson led out for 7,600. Smith called.

The river was the {J-Hearts} and Thorson bet out again, this time for 8,000. Smith moved all in having Thorson cover.

Thorson tossed his cards into the muck, leaving himself with only 36,000. Smith takes a commanding chip lead with 204,000.

Two More in the Books

Dustin "Neverwin" Woolf does sometimes win, apparently. He has just polished off Michael Baxter to earn his seat in the next round.

Also just finishing up was the match between Masaaki Kagawa and Jimmy D'Ambrosio. Jimmy D. put Kagawa on the ropes early on, and he has just finished the job, knocking off Kagawa and moving on. The final hand saw D'Ambrosio flop two pair with {K-Spades} {7-Clubs} to crack Kagawa's pocket aces and send him pacing toward the exit.

Tom "Durrrr" Dwan vs. Roberto Romanello; Romanello Survives All In

From the button, Roberto Romanello opened the pot for a 5,100 raise and Tom "Durrrr" Dwan called. The flop came {A-Spades} {8-Clubs} {7-Spades} and Durrrr check-called a 4,100 bet from Romanello.

The turn brought the {8-Hearts}. Again, Durrrr checked and Romanello bet 12,200. Durrrr made the call.

The river was the {6-Hearts} and for a third time Durrrr tapped the felt. Romanello moved all in for large shove of 62,000.

Durrrr laid down his hand, leaving himself with about 135,000.
