Duthie vs. Doudney: The First Bite

John Duthie raised to 45,000 from the button, and Nathan Doudney came along to the flop.

It brought {6-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} {8-Spades}, and both men checked. Fourth street came the {9-Spades}, and Doudney checked again. Duthie laid out 125,000, and Doudney made the call.

The last card off was the {J-Spades}. After another check, Duthie carefully stacked out and slid forward 325,000 chips. Doudney sat shuffling a handful of orange chips before letting his hand go.

The first small battle goes to John Duthie.
