Duthie vs. Doudney: One For Doudney

Nathan Doudney opened with the standard raise to 40,000, and John Duthie called.

The flop came {9-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} {6-Clubs}, and Duthie put out a bet. Doudney matched the 35,000, and both players checked when the {J-Clubs} hit the turn. On the river, the {2-Spades} implored Duthie to load another bullet. He fired 140,000 at the pot and put his hand back under his chin. With slightly shaky hands, Doudney stacked out the call and placed it in the pot.

Duthie tabled {J-Spades} {Q-Hearts} for top pair, but Doudney could do better. His {J-Hearts} {6-Hearts} gave him two pair and the pot. With that exchange, he has taken a bit of a lead over Duthie.

Duthie - 1,800,000
Doudney - 2,040,000
