Another Tran Rivers a Flush

While J.C. Tran was losing a hand, Theo Tran was winning one.

Three players checked a flop of {2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}, and the player in middle position bet 500 on the {10-Spades} on the turn after action was checked to him. Theo Tran then raised to 1,500 from the small blind, getting the big blind to fold and middle position player to call.

When the {K-Clubs} fell on the river, Tran asked his opponent for a chip count before betting 3,500. "You want to make a hero call?" Tran asked. "You have ace-10."

His opponent did in fact call and Tran tabled {4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a small flush.

Tran Loses Some Chips

In a six-way limped pot, the players saw a flop of {6-Hearts}{9-Spades}{4-Spades}. When the big blind checked, a player in early position bet 225, and action folded to J.C. Tran in the cutoff. Tran called, as did the big blind.

Action checked to Tran who bet 625 when the {K-Spades} appeared on fourth street, forcing the big blind to fold. The early position player called and both players checked the {3-Clubs} on the river.

When the early position player showed {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for a set, Tran mucked.

A Strange Hand for Bellande

Jean-Robert Bellande raised to 150 from middle position and got called by the big blind before we saw a flop of {K-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Spades}.

The big blind led for 250 and Bellande called, bringing the {J-Spades} on the turn. Both players checked, and checked again when the {6-Diamonds} hit the river.

When the big blind mucked, Bellande reached for the pot, but didn't want to show his cards. When the floor was called and Bellande was forced to open his hand, he sheepishly showed {9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}.
