Joe Beevers Gets into the Black

On a board of {J-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, Joe Beevers bet 1,100 in a pot of 1,500 from the big blind and got a call from the button.

Both players checked the {K-Hearts} on the river when it brought a possible flush, and Beevers turned over {K-Spades}{J-Diamonds} for top two pair. When his opponent mucked, Beevers had rebuilt his stack to 6,300.

Thang Luu Eliminated

On a flop of {K-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}, Thang Luu got his stack in the middle against the big blind.

Luu showed {K-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for trips while his opponent held {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for a gut-shot royal draw. The flush hit with the {2-Hearts} on the turn and the {J-Clubs} on the river brought a meaningless straight as well.

Also recently eliminated from action were Blake Cahill and Mark Newhouse.

Selbst, Pilgrim Tangle in Battle of the Blinds

Victoria Selbst limped into the pot from the small blind and Dwyte Pilgrim checked his option, taking us to a flop of {7-Spades}{3-Hearts}{6-Spades}.

Selbst bet 125 and Pilgrim called. Selbst bet 300 more at the {K-Clubs} on the turn, and Pilgrim raised to 1,025, pushing Selbst out of the hand.

Selbst is left with just 1,025 chips while Pilgrim has 5,800

Top Pair is Good for Hamby

With 3,000 in the pot after a flop of {10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}, action checked to Jared Hamby in the cutoff who pushed all in for 5,600. His opponent in the small blind made the call for less, pushing his 3,700 chips into the middle.

Small Blind: {A-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Hamby: {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

When the board finished with the {J-Clubs} and {K-Diamonds}, Hamby's 10s held and his stack increased to 12,000.

Ylon Schwartz Takes a Pot

The cutoff raised 450 and got called by the button before Ylon Schwartz reraised to 1,325 from the small blind. The cutoff folded and the big blind called, taking us to a flop of {7-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}.

When Schwartz pushed all in for 6,000, the button folded, giving up the pot.
