Gray Wins One

On a board of {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, Guillaume De La Gorce led out for 4,500 on the river and got called by Jason Gray.

When Gray showed {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts}, De La Gorce mucked, dropping his stack to 150,000 while Gray climbed to 120,000.

Gerasimoving!
Gerasimoving!
With a raise to 3,200 under the gun and two callers, Lika Gerasimova pushed for 20,400 from the big blind.

The original raiser passed, as did the next to speak. However when the action was on Anthony Roux on the button, he made the call to see the cards tabled.

Gerasimova: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}
Roux: {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}

The flop of {Q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} would nearly assure Gerasimova a double, and once she faded the {2-Diamonds} on the turn, followed by the {6-Spades} on the river, Gerasimova would double through to 48,000 and change.

Woodall Doubles Through Huang

Warren Woodall got the best of Yue Fan Huang for a second time today.

When Huang bet 4,500 on a flop of {J-Clubs}{6-Spades}{9-Clubs}, Woodall raised to 12,000. Huang reraised and Woodall pushed all in for a total of 58,100. Huang called and the hands opened.

Woodall: {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Huang: {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

The {J-Hearts} on the turn brought Woodall's house and ended the hand before the meaningless {4-Diamonds} landed on the river. Woodall is now up to 120,000 while Huang is down to 29,000.

Where's Warwick?

Walking through the room, we've found that Warwick Mirzikinian's stack has been slowly getting blinded off for the past 40 minutes.

Mirzikinian started the day with 121,200, but his Hellmuth-ian like tardiness could leave him significantly fewer chips by the time he arrives.

A Bad Start for Rheem

Chino Rheem made it 3,000 to go from the cutoff and Greg Hobson raised all in for 16,000 from the button. Rheem called and was way behind.

Rheem: {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}
Hobson: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

When the cards fell {7-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, Rheem's stack fell to 56,000 while Hobson doubled up to 35,000.

Hollink Shoves and Wins

Rob Hollink made it 3,000 to go from the button and got reraised to 7,000 from James Rustemoglu in the big blind. Hollink decided it was time to move, and pushed all in for 35,000, forcing Rustemoglu to surrender the hand.

Hollink remains a short stack with just 45,000.

Cheung Cut Down

Catching the action on the turn with the board reading {4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{2-Spades} Robert Cheung checked over to Joseph Baldwin who lead out for 12,000.

Cheung started exchanging friendly banter with Baldwin before he put in a min-raise to 24,000; with Baldwin making the call.

The river landed the {9-Spades} and Cheung immediately pushed all in with Baldwin double-fist-pump snap-calling and tabling his {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} to take the pot from Cheung's {Q-Clubs}{2-Clubs}.

As Cheung slipped to around 23,000, Baldwin climbs to 143,000 in chips.

Phil Sparta Tells Us About His Day

Phil Sparta stopped shared the details of two big hands he's played today.

In the first, the player under-the-gun raised to 2,800 and Sparta reraised to 7,500. When the small blind shoved for 32,000, the under-the-gun player folded and Sparta called.

Small Blind: {Q-?}{Q-?}
Sparta: {K-?}{K-?}

Before the flop, the under-the-gun player announced he folded pocket sevens, which was too bad since he would have made quads when the first three cards came down 7-7-4. When the turn and river brought bricks, Sparta took the pot.

In the next hand, Steve Bibi raised to 3,000 from under-the-gun and Sparta called from the button. Brett Switzer raised to 13,000 from the small blind, Bibi folded, and Sparta called again.

Switzer bet 12,500 on a flop of jack-jack-9, and Sparta raised to 30,000. Switzer then check-called for 40,000 when a 10 appeared on the turn, and check folded when Sparta shoved when an 8 fell on the river.

Sparta didn't show his hand, but said he was holding {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a full house.

It Would Have Been a Race

Jason Gray made it 4,000 to go from under-the-gun and Chino Rheem raised to 12,000 from middle position. Action folded back to Gray, who reraised to 42,000 and Rheem fell into the tank.

After awhile, Rheem prepared to fold and Gray offered to show his hand if Rheem would do the same. Rheem agreed and turned over {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} while Gray showed {A-Hearts}{K-Spades} before taking the pot.

Gray has 125,000 while Rheem has 70,000.
