A Straight for Salas

Damian Salas
Damian Salas
John Myung and Damian Salas both checked a flop of {5-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} before Myung led out for 11,000 when the board paired with the {4-Hearts} on the turn. Salas called and Myung bet 15,000 more when the {2-Diamonds} hit the river.

Salas called again and showed {3-Clubs}{3-Spades} for the straight and straight flush draw, which was enough for Myung to muck his hand.

Pieter Dekorver Wins a Small Pot

Pieter Dekorver raised to 5,500 from early position and got reraised to 16,000 by Jesse Yaginuma on the button.

Dekorver called and then bet just 5,500 on a flop of {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Yaginuma found the small bet suspicious, and mucked his hand. He now has 145,000 chips while Dekorver has 90,000.

Lika Gerasimova Eliminated

Lika Gerasimova
Lika Gerasimova
We got details of this hand after it happened. According to Jamie Roberts, another player at the table, Lika Gerasimova pushed all in on the turn on an ace-high board with three clubs.

Her opponent called and tabled {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs} for the second-nut flush, and Gerasimova was drawing dead with just {A-Spades}{6-Spades}. A meaningless card on the river ended her day.

Rob Hollink's Day is Done

Rob Hollink
Rob Hollink
Rob Hollink pushed his last 13,000 into the pot and got called by Jonathan Plens.

Hollink: {Q-Spades}{7-Spades}
Plens: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}

A flop of {A-?} {J-?} {8-?} did nothing to improve Hollink's hand, and Plens ended up with trips when the board finished with {6-?}, {A-?}. He now has 245,000.

Back-to-Back Beats for Rheem

In what players at the table called the craziest hand they'd seen, Chino Rheem bet 18,000 on a board of {J-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} before his opponent check-raised all in for an additional 13,000.

Rheem went fishing for information, asking his opponent if he was drawing dead. "Tell me my 8 is live," Rheem said before finally making the call with {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for an inside straight draw while his opponent showed {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for just queen high. Both players paired when the {10-Diamonds} hit the river, and Rheem got out-kicked.

On the very next hand, a player in early position moved all in for 32,800 and Rheem called from the button, showing {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} vs. his opponent's {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}.

A flop of {K-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{10-Hearts} put Rheem behind, and he couldn't find his three outs when the board finished {2-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}. After the two hands, Rheem's stack slipped to 138,000.

When Binger couldn't find a king on the board, he hit the rail.

Matt Vance Doubles Through Jamie Roberts

Jamie Roberts raised to 6,000 from late position and Matt Vance re-raised all in for 40,000 from the button.

Roberts called and we were off to the races.

Vance: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}
Roberts: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}

A flop of {A-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{6-Spades} put Vance in the lead, and he held on as the board finished {4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}. Vance moved to 85,000 while Roberts is short with just 35,000.

Cheung Doubles

Chris Mozingo opened to 6,000 from the cutoff before Robert Cheung shipped it all in for 45,000 total. Mozingo called and the cards were tabled.

Mozingo: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Cheung: {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}

The board ran out {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{6-Hearts} to see Cheung double through to 100,000 as Mozingo slipped to 150,000.
