How Cunningham Got Crippled

Warren Woodall, who went deep in the Series' first $2,000 No-Limit Hold 'em event, passed along details of the hand that crippled Allen Cunningham before his departure from the tournament.

According to Woodall, a short stack moved all in for 950 preflop, and Woodall called with {A-?}{Q-?}. Cunningham then raised another 2,100, and Woodall called again.

Both players checked the flop of {K-?}{J-?}{9-?}, and Cunningham led out when a {10-?} hit the turn. Woodall raised all in and Cunningham called.

Woodall: {A-?}{Q-?}
Cunningham: {K-?}{K-?}

The river was a brick and Woodall took the pot, lifting his stack to 28,000. The short-stacked Cunningham busted a few hands later.
