That's a Wrap!

Chip Leader Steven Tabb
Chip Leader Steven Tabb
We saw 213 players roll into the Amazon room today to play down to the final nine. However, now that play has wrapped up for the evening, seventeen still remain.

Darus Suharto, Shaun Deeb, Jared Hamby, Lika Gerasimova, Rob Hollink, Michael Binger, Kenna James and David 'Chino' Rheem were just a handful of the notables that started the day but fell short of a day three birth.

Corwin Cole started the day as chip leader, but with all the chips bagged and tagged it will be Steven Tabb sitting on top with 1,086,000 in chips. Snapping closely at his heels will be Andrew Seden (995,000), Warren Woodall (881,000) and Pat Atchison (852,000).

Two females still remain in the final seventeen; Laurence Grondin (608,000) and Almira Skripchenko (407,000) are both in great shape to capture the first open ladies bracelet since Vanessa Selbst won the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha event in 2008.

Action kicks off at 1pm tomorrow, so make sure to log on to PokerNews to catch every rivered flush, turned straight and flopped set as we battle down to a champion!
