My Two Pair is Better Than Yours

Jeff Lisandro (X)(X){3-Hearts} {5-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} (X)
Mike Wattel (X)(X){A-Hearts} {2-Spades} {K-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} (X)

Jeff Lisandro brought it in, Mike Wattel completed, Lisandro raised, Wattel three-bet and Lisandro called. Wattel led out on fourth and fifth streets and Lisandro called. On sixth Wattel check-called a bet and both players checked seventh.

Though Lisandro turned up two pair sevens and fives, Wattel had him with aces up. With neither player making a low, Wattel took down the entire pot.

Abe Mosseri Eliminated in 6th Place ($74,258)

Abe Mosseri - 6th Place
Abe Mosseri - 6th Place
Frank Mariani ({9-?})({7-?}){9-Clubs} {6-Clubs} {7-Diamonds} {9-?} (?)
Abe Mosseri ({7-?})({Q-?}){Q-Spades} {5-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} ({8-?})

Mike Wattel had the bring-in with the {4-Clubs}, Frank Mariani completed, Abe Mosseri made it two bets, Wattel folded and Mariani called. Mosseri led out on fourth street and Mariani called. He led again on sixth, Mariani raised, and Mosseri reraised all in for his last 60,000. Mariani called and they turned up their hole cards.

Mariani had two pair nines and sevens, while Mosseri revealed queens in the hole. Mariani caught another nine on sixth street to fill up, while Mosseri caught an eight to pick up a low draw. He rivered another eight, however, his queens up falling to Mariani's nines full, and hit the rail in 6th place.

Seven Lives for Chen

Farzad Rouhani three-bet Yan Chen's raise on third to get him all in. Chen made the call. Here's how the boards ran out:

Chen: ({7-?} {4-?}) {A-Spades} {6-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} {3-Clubs}
Rouhani: ({7-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds}) {5-Diamonds} {6-Spades} {8-Clubs} {K-Diamonds}-X

Rouhani did make a straight and a low, but Chen was able to pull a better low on his seventh card to stay alive.

Scoooopy Dooopy Doo!

I like to scoop
I like to scoop
Farzad Rouhani (X)(X){6-Clubs} {5-Clubs} {10-Clubs} {2-Hearts} (X)
Jeff Lisandro (X)(X){6-Spades} {J-Hearts}
Abe Mosseri (X)(X) {A-Spades} {9-Clubs} {7-Spades} {Q-Spades} (X)

Mike Wattel brought it in with the {2-Clubs}, Farzad Rouhani called, Jeff Lisandro called, Abe Mosseri completed, Wattel folded and both Rouhani and Lisandro called. Mosseri checked on fourth street, Rouhani bet, Lisandro folded and Mosseri called. Mosseri led out on fifth and sixth, Rouhani calling down. Mosseri bet out on seventh, Rouhani raised and Mosseri made the call.

Rouhani showed an ace-high flush and a 6-5-3-2-A low to scoop the pot.

Mariani Takes His Second in a Row

Frank Mariani (X)(X){A-Diamonds} {2-Clubs} {6-Diamonds}
Abe Mosseri (X)(X){K-Spades} {4-Clubs} {8-Clubs}

Farzad Rouhani had the bring-in with the {2-Spades}, Frank Mariani completed, Abe Mosseri called, Rouhani folded and Mariani called. Mariani led out on fourth street and Mosseri called. Mariani fired again on fifth, but Mosseri gave it up and Mariani took down his second pot in a row.

Epic Three-way Hand

Chen: (X-X) {9-Spades} {5-Clubs}
Mariani: (X-X) {8-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds}
Lisandro: (X-X) {J-Clubs} {2-Clubs}

To begin the action, Jeff Lisandro completed and then Yan Chen raised. Frank Mariani cold-called the two bets and Lisandro then called as well. On fourth street, there was a ton of crazy betting and raising action. Mariani bet, Lisandro raised, Chen reraised, Mariani called, Lisandro put in another raise, Chen raised again and capped the action. By the end of all the shots fired, both Chen and Mariani were all in.

Mariani tabled tens in the hole, Chen was rolled up with nines, and Lisandro had four clubs to a flush.

Chen: ({9-?} {9-?}) {9-Spades} {5-Clubs}
Mariani: ({10-?} {10-?}) {8-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds}
Lisandro: ({K-Clubs} {6-Clubs}) {J-Clubs} {2-Clubs}

Then on fifth street, Lisandro completed his flush with the {8-Clubs}. Mariani and Chen both didn't improve and were on the brink going to sixth. On sixth, Chen fill up by pairing his five. Mariani improved as well by picking up a third ten, so he could now take the main pot by pairing on seventh.

And just like that, the last card was dealt and Mariani filled up. It was unknown exactly what card he paired, but it was good enough to scoop the entire main pot. Lisandro lost the side pot to Chen as well.
