Bubble Bursts In Super-Fast Time

Well, that was a quick and painless bubble.

Daniel Kraus only had 7,000 left to his name, so he raised under the gun. Big blind Jared O'Dell called, and then check-called Kraus' sad little 1,000 chip all-in shove on the flop.

O'Dell: {9-Clubs} {6-Hearts}
Kraus: {Q-Spades} {5-Diamonds}

Board: {6-Clubs} {J-Hearts} {2-Spades} {K-Hearts} {4-Diamonds}

So Long, Soheil

One final table's enough for any man
One final table's enough for any man
Soheil Shamseddin took a massive hit during the bubble and would actually have spared Daniel Kraus the misery of the bubble by sharing 45th place money with him, were it not for one 500 chip which Shamseddin managed to hang on to. He actually managed to ladder all the way up to, er, 44th place -- Jeff Wagner busted out in 45th before Shamseddin got his last 500 in with {K-Clubs} {9-Clubs} which smacked right into Henric Strath's {K-Spades} {K-Hearts}.

No more limit final tables for Shamseddin this week, as he is busto.

Oh Fu-ey

Fu Wong has, er, wonged all his chips and is out in 41st place.

He raised from the cutoff and called a reraise from David Baker on the button. Wong check-called the flop and then check-called all in on the turn; he had some outs, but none of them materialized on the river and he's bust.

Baker: {6-Spades} {6-Diamonds}
Wong: {K-Clubs} {Q-Clubs}

Board: {9-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} {J-Spades} {7-Diamonds}

Big Bully

The two blinds were in to see a {9-Clubs} {3-Spades} {6-Hearts} flop. Andreas Martens led out from the SB and Yan Li called from the BB to see {5-Hearts} turn. This time Martens check-called bet from Li before the river came {8-Diamonds} that they both checked. Martens' {10-Spades} {9-Hearts} no good against Li's {3-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds}.

Li -- 120,000
Martens -- 80,000

Rich McBusto

Bustouts are coming thick and fast now that everyone is guaranteed a slice of the prize pool.

Rich McRoberts is the latest to drop, his {A-Hearts} {K-Spades} failing to hit against an opponent's {5-Clubs} {5-Spades}, and he exits in 40th place.

Cospolich Not Gonna Take It Brian Down

Not a bustout this time, but a double up instead.

Brian Cospolich raised to a bet from Diego Cordovez on a {4-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} {5-Hearts} board; Cordovez called and they saw a {J-Hearts} turn.

Cordovez bet out again and Cospolich called all in; he was behind...

Cordovez: {A-Spades} {3-Spades}
Cospolich: {A-Clubs} {Q-Clubs}

But...

River: {Q-Spades}

A lucky escape from the rail for Cospolich, who doubles to 30,000.

The Kid's Down But Not Out

Now on 45,000
Now on 45,000
We caught up with this hand at the turn with a {6-Diamonds} {4-Spades} {5-Spades} {K-Diamonds} board. Daniel Negreanu bet and was called by Andreas Martens before they both checked the {8-Diamonds} river.

Negreanu tabled {A-Spades} {2-Spades} to Marten's {A-Clubs} {5-Clubs}. Martens takes the pot and is up to 60,000. Negreanu now on 45,000.
