James Taylor Doubles through Lindgren

Action folded around to Erick Lindgren on the button who raised to 15,000. James Taylor moved all in from the big blind for 45,000 and Lindgren called.

Taylor: {A-Hearts} {10-Hearts} {10-Clubs} {9-Diamonds}
Lindgren: {A-Clubs} {K-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {4-Hearts}

The board came {J-Clubs} {5-Hearts} {2-Spades} {Q-Clubs} {7-Diamonds} allowing Taylor to double up.

James Taylor - 93,000
Erick Lindgren - 160,000

Nam Le Returns

Nam Le returns to this tournament after missing most of the day building his stack in the $1,500 NLHE tournament across the hall. At that event 54 players remain and he's already guaranteed over $9,000.

He rushes over to his table to see his stack has dropped to 57,000 - unfortunately the blinds had just passed him.

With blinds of 3,000 - 6,000 he's going to need to double up in a hurry.

The turn brought the {A-Diamonds} and Arieh bet 30,000. Again, Gabriellson smooth called.

The river was the {Q-Spades} and Arieh made a hefty bet of 100,000. Gabriellson tanked, and eventually made the call.

Arieh said, "I got it" turning over the nuts with {9-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} {K-Spades} - x.

Sorensen Succumbs

With the board reading {3-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts}{5-Spades} Jan Sorensen fired a bet of 10,000 with Matt Vengrin the lone caller as Erick Lindgren stepped aside.

The river brought the {K-Spades} and Sorensen fired 35,000 before Vengrin announced "pot". Sorensen made the call for the last of his chips and tabled {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}-X-X for a flopped full house but he'd been rivered by Vengrin's {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{Q-Spades}.

Vengrin moves up to 325,000 as the duel-bracelet winner is sent to the rail.

Chip Leaders Clash

From early position Ferit Gabriellson raised to 15,000 and Noah Schwartz called from the big blind.

The flop came {10-Clubs} {6-Spades} {5-Spades} and Schwartz check-called a 20,000 bet from Gabriellson.

The turn brought the {2-Spades} and after another check from Schwartz, Gabriellson bet 25,000. Schwartz folded and Gabriellson took it down.

Vengrin Claims Thuritz

After two days of toil, Mikael Thuritz has been eliminated from the tournament and will go home empty-handed.

Matt Vengrin was responsible when he made aces full of deuces holding {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} on a board of {J-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{A-Clubs}{2-Clubs}-X board which was too good for Thuritz.

Vengrin is now at 185,000.

Julian Powell Eliminated

Stefan Mattsson raised to 13,000 from under the gun and Piergiorgio D'Ancona called from middle position. Julian Powell reraised to 59,500 from the cutoff and Mattsson called. D'Ancona got out of the way.

The flop came {K-Clubs} {J-Spades} {6-Spades} . Mattson bet pot and Powell moved all in for his last few chips. Mattsson called and showed {J-Hearts} {10-Spades} {8-Clubs} {7-Spades}. He was up against {A-?} {A-?} {4-?} {2-?} with two spades for Powell.

The board filled out {K-Clubs} {J-Spades} {6-Spades} {9-Clubs} {7-Clubs} giving Mattsson runner-runner straight to eliminate Powell.

Mattsson is now at 500,000.

Ilari Sahamies Eliminated
