Jerrod Ankenman raised from under the gun and then Jon "Pearljammer" Turner called all in from the next position. Sergey Altbregin called from the blind and Chris Klodnicki called from the big blind as well.

The flop came down {9-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} {7-Spades} and all three remaining active players checked. The turn brought the {8-Spades} and Altbregin checked. Klodnicki bet and Ankenman called. Altbregin folded.

The river was the {6-Diamonds} and both Klodnicki and Ankenman checked.

Turner held {A-Spades} {J-Diamonds}, Ankenman held {K-Spades} {9-Clubs}, and Klodnicki held {7-Diamonds} {6-Clubs}. Ankenman won the hand and eliminated Turner in 5th place.

Omaha/8

Chris Klodnicki raised from the button and both blinds defended. The flop came down {K-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {3-Clubs}. Jerrod Ankenman checked first and then Jeff Tims checked second. Klodnicki checked as well.

The turn brought the {8-Diamonds} and three more checks. The river was the {4-Diamonds} and Ankenman checked. Tims bet out and only Klodnicki called.

Tims tabled {A-Spades} {K-Clubs} {7-Hearts} {6-Diamonds} for kings and sevens with a low using his ace and six. Klodnicki held sevens and fours and a worse low with {7-Diamonds} {6-Spades} {4-Spades} {2-Diamonds}.

Tims scooped the pot and it put him over 850,000 chips. Klodnicki is now down to under 75,000.

Tims Beats On Klodnicki Some More

Razz

Chris Klodnicki doubled up to 140,000 on one hand of Razz before a hand came up where he had to bring in with a {9-?} showing. He decided to raise; Tims called with a {7-?} showing. On fourth, Tims drew a {6-?} and bet into Klodnicki who drew a {Q-?}. Klodnicki hemmed and hawed and then folded.

Tims showed {5-?} {4-?} underneath and said, "That queen could've have been a good card for you." to Klodnicki, because it may have saved him a lot of chips. Maybe even his tournament life. Klodnicki is down to 100,000.

More From the Razzlement

Razz

Chris Klodnicki raised and Jeff Tims reraised. Klodnicki reraised again and the two eventually got all in, with Klodnicki on the line. Here's how the boards ran out:

Klodnicki: ({A-?} {2-?}) {3-?} {4-?} {4-?} {6-?} {J-?}
Tims: ({A-?} {6-?}) {3-?} {8-?} {Q-?} {A-?} {Q-?}

Klodnicki was able to double on the hand to 240,000 chips.

The Russians Are Coming!

Sergey Altbregin
Sergey Altbregin
Jeff Tims seems to be the most active player at the table lately. He's been battling back and forth with Chris Klodnicki, but has now found a new person at the table to go to war with.

On two recent hands, Tims has locked horns with Sergey Altbregin. The first hand was a Razz hand where Altbregin made a low of {8-?} {6-?} {3-?} {2-?} {A-?} to beat Tims. The next hand was a Stud hand where Tims folded angrily on seventh street to a bet from Altbregin.

Tims is down to 370,000 now, while Altbregin has moved up to 720,000.

Not Much Happening

Not much has been going on since we switched to Stud/8. Six of the eight hands have been played and only two have seen a showdown. Both times, the pot was chopped between the two players involved.

Greg Raymer has stopped by to say hello to Jerrod Ankenman. He even asked Ankenman to count his chips. Also stopping by in the crowd are Timothy "TK" Miles, Jim Geary, Vitaly Lunkin, Matt "HossTBF" Hawrilenko, Gavin Griffin, Alexander Kostritsyn, and Kirill Gerasimov.
