Negreanu Multi-Tabling

Daniel Negreanu seems to have been playing three tournaments in here today, and seeing as he just busted from the Razz, he's now gracing the O8 with his presence. He's just come in and is munching on a mozzarella and tomato salad at Mike Matusow's table. Hope that's vegan mozzarella, young man!

Meet Gator Man

Talking of Mike Longo, we've been calling him Gator Man all day owing to his propensity for the bitey little reptiles, as well as plastic roses. He's wearing a big hat with some enormous furry dice hanging from it and has been handing out said roses and little furry alligator toys to dealers and players alike all day, and with no less than two cups of coffee perched in front of him on the table, he's not slowing down any.

When asked as to well, why, he replied that he's a massive fan of the Orleans casino, and is handing out gators in homage to his spiritual casino home. Most odd.

Rasmussen Makes a Flush

Thayer Rasmussen bet out on the {Q-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {Q-Spades} from the small blind and Mike Longo raised. The gentleman on the cutoff reraised, and back to Rasmussen who four-bet. Two calls.

All three players checked the {9-Hearts} turn, and Rasmussen bet out again on the {9-Spades} river. Longo folded but Mr Cutoff called, only to muck when Rasmussen turned over {Q-Clubs} {J-Hearts} {A-Hearts} {5-Spades}. "Queens with an ace," announced the dealer, before having it pointed out that Rasmussen had made a flush. Omaha's a bit like that. All the same, the other gentleman mucked and Rasmussen took the pot.

Where Are We Again?

The Brasilia Room is a long, long way from the baking beaches of Brazil, in more ways than one -- it's absolutely freezing in here.

Brazilian native Maridu Mayrinck is feeling it worse than most. "Feel her hand," ordered her table neighbour, and indeed she seemed to be suffering rather badly from the cold in here. Nevertheless, it's not stopped her pushing her chips around -- just as I arrived at the table she was scooping in a pot, putting her up to an early 8,700 or so.

Binger Three Quartered

The gent in the small blind checked the {7-Clubs} {7-Spades} {5-Spades} flop to Michael Binger on the button, who bet.

Indeed Mr Small Blind seems to have check-called all the way down the {8-Spades} turn and {J-Clubs} river too, and Mr Small Blind got himself three quarters of the decent-sized pot.

Binger: {6-Clubs} {A-Hearts} {5-Clubs} {J-Hearts}
Mr Small Blind: {3-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds}
