Bloch Not Going Anywhere

Mid-position raised and Bloch made it three bets from the cutoff before the small blind made it four. The mid-position player folded and Bloch called, he then called bets on the flop and turn of a {A-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} {8-Spades} {4-Spades} {9-Hearts} board.

Both checked the river and Bloch showed {K-Hearts} {K-Clubs} while the small blind mucked.

Betting at the Table

For the last half hour, Mark Seif and Amnon Fillipi have been arguing over which hand is better to take on {A-Hearts} {A-Diamonds}. Is it {7-Clubs} {6-Clubs} or {6-Clubs} {5-Clubs}? The pair had a $1,000 on the bet with Seif sure the {7-Clubs} {6-Clubs} would win.

After a quick calculation online, both hands beat aces 22.87% of the time but {7-Clubs} {6-Clubs} only ties with aces 0.32% of the time, but {6-Clubs} {5-Clubs} ties with aces 0.37% of the time...

Hellmuth Busts..

Just before a multiway limped pot, Phil Hellmuth shouts to Annie Duke, "Watch how I play this one..."

They see a {A-Spades} {6-Clubs} {3-Spades} flop and it's checked to Hellmuth who bets 450. Jean-Robert Bellande check-raises all in and Hellmuth quickly calls with {7-?} {7-?}, ahead of Bellande's {J-?} {6-?}. The turn is the {K-Hearts} but the river is a devil for Hellmuth, another {6-?} to eliminate him.

Nick Bings It

After crippling himself with {A-Spades} {K-Spades} against {K-Clubs} {K-Diamonds}, Nick Binger was all in for his shrapnel with {9-?} {8-?} against {K-Clubs} {Q-Clubs}. Despite the flop coming {K-?} {K-?} {5-?}, Binger won when the turn was the {6-?} and the river the {7-?} for his last few hundred chips.

Shannon Shorn...

During the limit portion, Brock Parker and Shannon Elizabeth check a {Q-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} {A-Clubs} flop, Parker bets the {10-Hearts} turn and the actress calls before they both check the {2-Hearts} river. Parker shows {A-Spades} {7-Spades} and Elizabeth mucks, leaving herself with 2,700. Parker has 12,000.
