Greenstein on the March

I
I
Barry Greenstein has just eliminated another player at his table. He raised to 1,900 preflop and then called an all in of 10,075 with {A-Hearts} {10-Hearts}. He ended up winning against {K-Spades} {Q-Spades}, which almost got there on a {5-Spades} {8-Diamonds} {2-Spades} {10-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} board.

Hawrilenko Takes One in the Gut-shot

The cutoff raised and the small blind called. Matt Hawrilenko made it three bets and both players called.

Hawrilenko bet the flop of {A-Spades} {2-Spades} {3-Clubs} after the small blind checked. The cutoff reraised and the small blind folded. Hawrilenko made it three bets and the cutoff called. On the {5-Hearts} turn, Hawrilenko fired again and the cutoff raised again with Hawrilenko calling and then paying off another bet on the {3-Spades} river.

He was shown {4-Diamonds} {4-Clubs}, which had got their on the turn and is now down to 26,000.

Negreanu's Furst For Chips

On a flop of {10-Clubs} {2-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds}, Daniel Negreanu bet and Rafe Furst raises. Negreanu calls and then bets on the {8-Hearts} turn after Furst checks, then calls the bet.

On the {K-Clubs} river, Furst leads out again and Negreanu makes the call with {8-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds}, which is good enough to win.

JC's Too Late!

Awww, nuts...
Awww, nuts...
JC Tran has been crippled after putting his money in with {9-Clubs} {9-Hearts} on the turn of a {9-Spades} {4-Clubs} {J-Clubs} {10-Clubs} board. Unfortunately for the two time bracelet winner, his opponent had {K-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} for the straight and the river remained a resolutely unpaired {8-Diamonds}, leaving Tran with just 4,500 left.

JC Tran Out

After losing that big pot, it was pretty much inevitable that Tran would have to gamble for his stack. He lost a flip with {9-Hearts} {9-Spades} to {A-Hearts} {K-Hearts} after a pesky {A-Spades} came on the flop.

Negreanu Bad Beats Manfrede

Running goooooood
Running goooooood
Disaster for Karen Manfrede -- she had Daniel Negreanu reraise her and so she pushed, incredibly reasonably with {A-?} {A-?}, and got a call from Manfrede's {K-?} {K-?}.

Unfortunately, Negreanu caught a king on the river. Manfrede hit the rail and Negreanu has 138,000.
