Phew... needed that one
Phew... needed that one
Stud

Huck Seed (X)(X) {K-Clubs} {J-Spades} {8-Spades} {2-Clubs} (X)
Vitaly Lunkin (X)(X) {10-Diamonds} {9-Spades} {8-Clubs} {4-Spades} (X)

Erik Sagstrom brought it in with the {3-Spades}, Huck Seed completed, Vitaly Lunkin called and Sagstrom folded.

Seed led out on fourth street and Lunkin called. On fifth he led again and Lunkin raised. Seed called, then led out on sixth street. Lunkin called. Seed bet the river and Lunkin looked him up.

Seed showed two pair, jacks and deuces. Lunkin had a lower two pair, tens and nines, and Seed took it down.

River Check-Raise Good For Lunkin

Stud

Sagstrom: (X-X) {10-Spades}{K-Clubs}{8-Spades}{J-Clubs} (X)
Seed: (X-X) {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} (X)
Lunkin: (X-X) {A-Spades}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts}{5-Hearts} (X)

David Bach was the bring in with the {4-Clubs} and Erik Sagstrom completed. Huck Seed called before Vitaly Lunkin raised. Bach folded as Sagstrom and Seed both called.

Lunkin led the betting on fourth, fifth and sixth streets as all three players went to the river. Lunkin then checked, Sagstrom checked and Seed bet. Lunkin then announced a raise to force a fold from Sagstrom. Seed gave a wry smile and shrugged before releasing his hand as Lunkin collects a very nice pot.

Plenty of Room

This event has received tremendous support from the fans on the rail over the past four days, with railbirds three deep and hanging onto every vantage point to catch a glimpse of their favorite players.

It's interesting to note that as this event reaches it's climax, in the comfort of the ESPN feature stage, there is currently plenty of spare seating available for those looking to see the action up close.

Perhaps the lack of big TV personalities from this final table has kept the fans away today, or maybe the seats will start to fill as the evening progresses.

Two Pair is Better Than One

On sixth, Hanson made an open pair of sevens and bet out, Bach raised and Hanson called. Bach bet the river and Hanson looked him up.

From The High To The Hi-Lo

Stud

The last two hands of Stud were ended rather abruptly when the board paired up.

John Hanson collected a pot on fourth street with a pair of kings showing against Huck Seed, while Vitaly Lunkin did likewise next hand showing a pair of tens by fifth street to force a fold from Ville Wahlbeck.

We're now on to Stud-8!

Wahlbeck Eliminated....From The Six-Handed Event

During the break as we stretched our legs and took a little walk around the Amazon Room we suddenly noticed a man closely resembling Ville Wahlbeck playing in the $5,000 Six-Handed Event. On closer inspection it was indeed Wahlbeck, as incredibly he was multi-tabling during the break of this $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. event.

After a moment or two of relection of what we could buy for $5,000, we noticed Wahlbeck all in and his last chips taken from him in rapid-fire bustout from that event.

Hopefully for Wahlbeck, he doesn't bring that form back over to this final table!
