Seed and Sagstrom Split

Omaha-8

Erik Sagstrom raised from the button and Huck Seed called from the big blind.

The flop came down {9-Diamonds} {9-Spades} {3-Hearts} and Seed check-raised Sagstrom's bet. Sagstrom called and they went to the turn, which fell the {2-Diamonds}. Seed bet, Sagstrom raised, Seed three-bet, and Sagstrom called. The river was the {7-Hearts} and Sagstrom called Seed's lead bet.

Seed showed {A-Spades} {J-Clubs} {9-Clubs} {3-Clubs} for nines full of threes, but Sagstrom had a low with {A-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} {8-Diamonds} for 8-7-3-2-A and they split the pot.

Lunkin Lets It Go

Omaha-8

The action folded to Huck Seed in the small blind who raised it up. Vitaly Lunkin made the call in the big blind.

The flop fell {j-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Seed led out with a bet. Lunkin made the call.

The turn landed the {K-Diamonds} and Seed fired again to take it down as Lunkin released his hand.

Sagstrom Chops Another

Omaha-8

Erik Sagstrom raised it up from middle position and Vitaly Lunkin called on the button. Both blinds folded and they took a heads-up flop of {A-Hearts}{8-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

Sagstrom fired out a bet and Lunkin made the call. The turn brought the {7-Diamonds}. Sagstrom fired again for 80,000 and this time Lunkin announced a raise. Sagstrom made the call.

The river landed the {A-Diamonds}. Sagstrom checked over to Lunkin who fired a bet with Sagstrom making the call. Lunkin tabled {A-Clubs}{7-Spades}-X-X for a full house to collect the high as Sagstrom took the low with {5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}-X-X.

Seed Finds Some Razzle

Razz

Huck Seed has taken down one of the first significant Razz pots after firing bets on all streets before checking the river against Ville Wahlbeck.

Seed showed {8-?}{10-?}{3-?}{Q-?} ({7-?}{6-?}{4-?}) for an eighty-seven low to take it down.

Huck Seed (X)(X) {8-?} {Q-?} {4-?} {8-?}
Vitaly Lunkin (X)(X) {6-?} {A-?} {J-?} {9-?}

Chau Giang had the bring-in, John Hanson completed, Huck Seed called, Vitaly Lunkin raised, Giang folded, Hanson made it three bets, Seed called and Lunkin called.

Lunkin led out on fourth street and both players called. He checked fifth when he caught a jack, Hanson bet out, Seed called and Lunkin called. Lunkin checked again on sixth street, Hanson bet, Seed folded, and after a bit of a think, Lunkin gave up his hand, conceding the pot to Hanson.

Lunkin Makes Nice Razz Read

Razz

Wahlbeck: (X-X) {7-?}{5-?}{2-?}{A-?} (X)
Lunkin: (X-X) {5-?}{10-?}{4-?}{9-?} (X)

Eric Seidel was the bring in with the {K-Diamonds} before Ville Wahlbeck completed. Vitaly Lunkin made the call and Seidel folded.

Ville Wahlbeck fired the whole way with Lunkin slowly and deliberately calling him down despite the scary looking board of his opponent.

At showdown Wahlbeck tabled ({Q-?}{7-?}-x) but Lunkin took it down with ({8-?}{6-?}{2-?}) for an eighty-six low.

Meanwhile Chau Giang gave his thoughts on Razz..."I hate this game!"
