Alexander Kostritsyn Two-Tabling

Alexander Kostritsyn, clad in a bright yellow tee, is currently dashing back and forth between Table Orange #76, where he is playing in this event, and Table Orange #68, where he has a stack in Day 2 of the $10,000 World Championship Seven-Card Stud event. Kostritsyn will fold a hand in PLO, crane his neck across the room to see if another stud hand has been dealt, then dash the fifty or so feet to his other table.

Kostritsyn is well-stacked in both tourneys, starting Day 2 of this event with 68,200 in chips and is currently sitting at 33,000 in the stud tournament.

Yellowsub Sunk

Jeff "yellowsub86" Williams
Jeff "yellowsub86" Williams
On a flop of {9-Spades} {8-Spades} {5-Hearts}, Jeff Williams committed the rest of his chips with {A-Spades} {Q-Spades} {7-Clubs} {3-Clubs} for the nut flush draw against Jae Chang's {A-Hearts} {A-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} {4-Diamonds}. Williams couldn't hit a spade on the {9-Hearts} turn or the {8-Clubs} river and made an early exit from Day 2.

Tom Chambers Eliminated; Mercier Continues to Climb

Jason Mercier - In Control
Jason Mercier - In Control
On a board of {10-Clubs} {5-Clubs} {4-Hearts} {J-Hearts} Jason Mercier led out for 8,500 and Tom Chambers raised pot. Mercier moved all in and Chambers made the call with {A-Hearts} {J-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} for top two pair and a heart flush draw.

Mercier turned over {5-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} for a set of fives.

The {9-Spades} river was a blank, eliminating Chambers from the tournament.

Mercier extends his massive chip lead and is now at 292,000.
