Andrey Zaichenko Eliminated in 17th Place ($26,824)

Andrey Zaichenko had a wild, up-and-down last half-hour tonight. He was crippled down to 80,000 in a huge hand versus Matt Waxman, then doubled up a couple of times, then was at 290,000 when the following hand took place.

Zaichenko opened with a standard-sized raise from under the gun, Rory Mathews reraised to 60,000 from the cutoff, it folded back around and Zaichenko shoved all in, and Mathews called.

Zaichenko tabled {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and Mathews {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}. The board went {4-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}, and Zaichenko's roller-coaster ride finally came to an end.
