Edler, Shorr, Bill Childs Out; Deeb on the Rise

While Bill Edler was being eliminated at one table in 38th place ($17,272), Shaun Deeb was busy knocking out two more players in rapid succession.

In the first, Shannon Shorr was all in before the flop for 140,000 with {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts} against Deeb's {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}. The board ran out {5-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, and Shorr hit the rail in 37th ($17,272).

Soon after, Bill Childs raised to 15,000 from late position, Deeb reraised to 50,000 from the small blind, Childs shoved all in for 160,000, and Deeb called.

Deeb showed {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} and Childs {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}. The board went {10-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}, and Childs is out in 36th ($19,453).

Deeb now has 900,000.
