That's A Wrap - Day 4 Is In The Books

Ludovic Lacay - Likely Overnight Chip Leader
Ludovic Lacay - Likely Overnight Chip Leader
An abbreviated day full of fast-paced eliminations and an enthralling bubble burst, saw 789 players start the day with high hopes but only 407 still have their dreams alive as the players are now bagging and tagging their chips.

The story of the day was the dramatic bubble burst of Kia Hamadani who was blinded down to his last 500-chip ante before eventually succumbing to the roars of the players in the Amazon Room as they made the money.

Only three levels of play today, but that was enough for Ludovic Lacay to emerge from the pack as our likely overnight chip leader. The likes of Blair Hinkle, Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier, Theo Tran, Mickey Mills, Dan Harrington, Kenny Tran, Tom Schneider, Nick Schulman and Lou Diamond Phillips all find themselves well placed entering Day 5 of the Main Event tomorrow.

Those who weren't so fortunate today included duel-bracelet winner Greg Mueller, Hevad Khan, Isaac Baron, Kristy Gazes, Chris Ferguson, Paul Wasicka, Alexander Kostritsyn, Justin Bonomo and of course Phil Hellmuth who was the biggest casualty late in the day.

Play will resume once again tomorrow at 12 noon so stay locked into PokerNews.com for all of your live updates from the tournament floor. See you then!
