JJ Liu Gives Back

On a flop of {4-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}, J.J. Liu called a 1,000 chip bet late position and went heads up to the turn, which brought the {6-Hearts}.

Her opponent pushed all in for 1,850 and Liu thought for about 20 seconds before making the call. Her opponent turned up {K-?}{J-?}, dominating Liu's {Q-?}{J-?}, and when the {6-Spades} came on the river, Liu's chips slid one spot to her right.

Liu still has approximately 9,000 chips following the hand.

Phil Hellmuth Wins a Hand

After being moved into the Amazon Room, Phil Hellmuth took little time before playing a hand.

He raised to 600 preflop from the cutoff and got called by the big blind. Both players checked the flop of {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{7-Spades} and the big blind bet 800 when the {J-Hearts} appeared on the turn. Hellmuth raised to 2,300 leaving himself 3,600 behind.

After a short time in the tank, the big blind mucked. Hellmuth now has about 9,500.

Theo Tran Eliminated

Tran raised to 600 preflop and was called by the small blind, who then led out for another 600 on a flop of {10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. Tran raised all in for 2,900 and got the call.

Tran showed {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} while his opponent showed {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for top pair and a flush draw. The board ran out {K-Spades}{J-Diamonds} and Tran's day was done.
