The Bubble Continues

Play is still hand for hand on every table which, as you can imagine, is a rather drawn out process when you have thirty tables in action.

We've lost only one player over the last couple of hands, with still two more eliminations required until we hit the money.

The Bubble Has Burst

We lost three players on the last hand of hand-for-hand play. The last two who busted split the money awarded for 297th place.

Players are now on a 20-minute break and regular play will resume with levels increasing to 800/1,600/200.

Jung Elimiantes Another

Hyun Jung has sent another short-stacked opponent to the rail as the queue at the cashier desk lengthens. Jung called the 9,900-chip shove of a middle position player and tabled {A-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for the best hand against his opponent's {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}.

The board ran out {A-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs} and Jung collected the pot to move up to close to 100,000 chips.

Joe Tehan Eliminated

Players have been busting at an incredible rate ever since we reached the money. One notable name who made a quick exit is Joe Tehan, who was short stacked since the end of Day 1.

Pay Jump

We've already lost 46 players since play resumed after the last break. That means we've also made our first pay jump of the day, meaning the remaining players are guaranteed to receive at least $2,895.

Michael Pesek Makes a Huge Call

Michael Pesek raised to 5,200 from the button and got called by a player who had limped in middle position.

When the flop came {K-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}, the middle position player shoved all in for 32,000 and Pesek tanked for nearly two minutes before making the call with {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}. His opponent showed {Q-Spades}{10-Spades} for the spade flush draw, but couldn't improve when the board ran out {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}.

Pesek now has 95,000.
