Wait Until the River

Bryce Yockey raised to 50,000 from the button and Ken Aldridge called from the BB. All street were checked until we had a {6-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} {K-Spades} {A-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} board where Yockey bet 100,000 when checked to him. Aldridge folds to hand the pot to Yockey.

Aldridge Showing Lots of Spark

Ken Aldridge has upped his aggression factor since re-locating to the feature table. He opened another pot -- this one to 67,000 -- and was called by big blind and chip leader Bryce Yockey. Yockey checked the {4-Clubs} {K-Spades} {3-Hearts} flop to Aldridge, who fired out for 92,000. Yockey (who yesterday floated with {2-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} and wound up backing into runner-runner trips) made the call.

The {A-Hearts} hit the turn. Yockey checked again, then folded to a bet from Aldridge of 250,000.

Praz Bansi Eliminated in 7th Place ($42,320)

Praz Bansi
Praz Bansi
Praz Bansi raised to 65,000 from the button before Bryce Yockey three bets to 215,000 from the SB. Back on Bansi he takes a while to think and then moves all-in followed by a snap call with {A-Spades} {J-Hearts} from Yockey. Bansi is in trouble with {A-Clubs} {10-Clubs} as the board comes {9-Clubs} {2-Hearts} {3-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds}.

We'll have a brand new bracelet winner today as Bansi is the only player to have won one previously.

Aldridge "Teaches" Gould About Poker

Ken "Teach" Aldridge had first action and opened with a raise to 72,000. Peter Gould, perhaps feeling confident after swiping 300,000 chips from Carman Cavella, took about thirty seconds before putting those chips to work with a re-raise to 222,000. All players passed back to Ken Aldridge, who reached behind himself and rubbed the back of his neck with his left hand before making a waving motion with his hands over his chips and declaring "All in."

Gould asked for a count. Aldridge's remaining stack was counted down at 503,000 after pulling the 222,000. Gould then decided to call.

Aldridge: {A-Hearts} {K-Diamonds}
Gould: {A-Clubs} {J-Hearts}

The flop of {7-Clubs} {5-Spades} {k-Spades} was a great on for Aldridge. He took down the pot with running threes on the turn and river. The two men will (more or less) change places in the counts.

Flop Action

Peter Gould raised from mid position and found a call from Carman Cavella in the BB before the flop came {9-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} flop. Cavella checked to Gould who bet 79,000 before he raised it 225,000. Gould quickly moved in and Cavella let go of his hand just as quick.

First Hand to Aldridge

Ken Aldridge got things started with a raise to 48,000. Action passed to big blind Praz Bansi, who made the call. Bansi checked a flop of {5-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {K-Clubs}, then surrendered his cards when Aldridge made it 80,000 to go.
