Banished By Bansi

Trying for Bracelet No. 2
Trying for Bracelet No. 2
There was a raise UTG before British player Praz Bansi three bet from the button. The UTG player moved in and Bansi called with {J-?} {J-?}. We were off to the races as the UTG player held {A-?} {K-?}. The board bricked though and UTG left with no hand shakes. He didn't seem to be too popular at that table.

The very next hand Bansi three bet another opponent forcing them to fold. He's up to 65,500 now.

Doubled Then Bust

A really short stacked Ivan Demidov has just doubled to a short stack. He got it all in with {K-Clubs} {9-Clubs} and was called by an opponent with {A-Diamonds} {7-Clubs}. The board came {9-Clubs} {6-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {10-Spades} {7-Hearts} to give the Russian some hope.

He then got blinded down to 4,675 before he got it all in again with a willing customer. He held {A-Hearts} {J-Spades} that couldn't catch up against an opponent's {8-Hearts} {8-Clubs}.

Sick Call

Just before the level change, a player in the cut off raised to 600 and Dario Minieri called from the big blind. The flop came {K-Spades} {4-Spades} {4-Diamonds} and both players checked. Minieri then check-called a 1,000 bet on the {A-Spades} turn. The river brought the {3-Hearts} and Minieri checked to face a 1,325 bet that he snap called.

The CO player mucked and Minieri showed {Q-Spades} {6-Diamonds} for queen high! His stack's at 72,000 now.

Kiddy Roller Coaster

No purple today?
No purple today?
Kathy Liebert got her stack up to 6,500 when she busted a player holding pocket aces to his pocket jacks. Then a short while later she found herself back down to 3,400 after folding to an all-in bet on the turn on a {10-Hearts} {6-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} board after she'd bet 2,000.

TKO

A player raised before Audley Harrison set him in. He called with {A-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} but was in trouble against the champion boxer's {A-Spades} {A-Hearts}. The board ran {J-Spades} {K-Spades} {8-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} and Harrison knocks out another opponent. He's up to 25,000 now.

Poker Cannibalism

Carlos Mortensen raised to 600 from UTG before the SB raised to 3,600. Mortensen then moved all-in and received a call. It was the same hand, as Mortensen tabled {A-Clubs} {K-Clubs} to the SB's {A-Hearts} {K-Diamonds}.

The board came a lucky {10-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {3-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} for Mortensen to make a flush to propel him up to 44,000 and bust his opponent.
