Ramin Henke Eliminated in 12th Place ($21,707)

Bryn Kenney raised it up before Ramin Henke jammed the rest of his stack in. Henke's friends on the rail gathered closer to the table to the annoyance of the regular security guard. They really tried to gather closer when Kenney shrugged his shoulders and called with {K-Spades} {Q-Spades}. Henke tabled {10-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} and the board ran {A-Clubs} {8-Spades} {J-Clubs} {A-Spades} {2-Spades} !!

Runner runner flush enough to break Henke and his railers' hearts.

McNally Lives to See Another Flop

To Steve McNally's credit, he put the maximum pressure on Ken Aldridge. After Aldridge opened for 45,000 from the button and the small blind folded, McNally raised all in to 184,000 total. Aldridge did not call right away, but he did eventually call with the best hand.

Aldridge: {A-Clubs} {6-Clubs}
McNally: {K-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds}

McNally's supporters were jazzed to see a king hit the flop, {K-Diamonds} {5-Spades} {9-Hearts}. The turn {6-Diamonds} gave them a little sweat, but the river bricked {3-Spades} to secure McNally's double-up. He's now on 380,000 while Aldridge has dropped to 250,000.

Freeze Tag

The predictable tightening of play has finally arrived. Players are one table off of making a WSOP final table. It's what many poker players dream about. Most are loathe to be eliminated from the tournament after working so hard to make it to this point.

At this time of night, the Amazon Room is three-quarters empty. Apart from the two tables of this tournament and the two remaining Event 10 tables, the only activity is in the cash game section of the room.

Short Stack Doubles

Robert Lipkin makes it 31,000 to go before Allan Puzantyan makes it another 45,000 on top. Lipkin then moves all in and Puzantyan makes the call with {A-Hearts} {9-Hearts}. It's a coin flip as Lipkin has {8-Clubs} {8-Diamonds}.

The board runs {A-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} to double Puzantyan to 460,000. Lipkin on 440,000.

The 2 Card Drawn

Play has ground to a halt here as it seems players are contented to wait and try their luck tomorrow.

The TD asked a player to draw a card to see how many hands will be played at the end of the night. In the first good beat in a while the No.2 2 card was drawn, so two hands will be played on each table at 2.50am.

Allan Puzantyan Eliminated in 11th Place ($ 21,707)

It's folded around to Bryce Yockey on the button who makes it 38,000 to call. Allan Puzantyan called from SB before a {A-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} {8-Spades} flop came. Puzantyan led out for 75,000 and Yockey called before {3-Clubs} came on the turn. Puzantyan led for 125,000 this time and another call before the {3-Hearts} came on the river. Puzantyan moved all in and Yockey called.

Puzantyan tabled {A-Hearts} {J-Spades} but unbelievably Yockey tables {2-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} for running threes! He's at 1,060,000 now and Puzantyan left in a state of shock and out.
