Parille Eliminated

Oh, those pesky 50-50s. Joe Parille found himself staring down the barrel of one against Bobby Firestone. Parille opened for 50,000 preflop, then called all in for about 200,000 after Firestone put him all in. It was {A-Spades} {Q-Hearts} for Firestone and {4-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} for Parille. A board of {A-Hearts} {k-Spades} {6-Spades} {3-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} sent Parille packing.

Firestone is up to 1.1 million.

Bansied

Ben Yerushalaim moved all in for his last 72,000 and was looked up by Praz Bansi in the BB. Yerushalaim held {J-?} {10-?} but would need to hit as Bansi held {K-?} {5-?}. He didn't manage to catch up though and heads for the pay out desk. Bansi is up to 450,000 as a result.

One Goes Up, One Goes Down

Bryn Kenney has just doubled through big stack Bobby Firestone after they got it all in preflop. It was always going to happen when Kenney held {A-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} and Firestone {A-Hearts} {K-Spades}. The board ran {9-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} {2-Spades} {5-Hearts} {J-Hearts}.

Firestone still sitting pretty on 906,000 whereas Kenney is now mildly attractive on 398,000.

Lipkin Fills, Sends Radonjic Packing

Once Robert Lipkin flopped the nut flush draw, he probably wasn't going anywhere against Peter Radonjic. Radonjic bet 31,000 on a flop of {6-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} {7-Diamonds}, then moved all in after the {4-Diamonds} turn. Lipkin called both bets with a big draw, {A-Hearts} {5-Hearts}, and caught one of his many outs when the river fell {3-Clubs} to give him a seven-high straight.

A disappointed Radonjic was eliminated in 15th place.

Peter Wins a Pot of Gould at the Races

Running good
Running good
Jack Densing was UTG and found a hand to move all in with for 84,000. It was folded around to Peter Gould in the BB who called with {10-Clubs} {10-Spades}. Off to the races they went as Densing held {A-Spades} {K-Hearts}. The board ran {6-Hearts} {9-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} {J-Spades} to send Densing to the exit and Gould to a 620,000 stack.

Firestone Plummeting; Doubles Up Aldridge

A short while ago Bobby Firestone had more than 1 million chips. Now he's down to 455,000 after doubling up Ken Aldridge. All the action was preflop (again), with Firestone opening for 26,000, Aldridge reraising to 85,000, Firestone shoving and Aldridge calling all in for about 198,000 total. Aldridge had the best hand, {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} against Firestone's {8-Hearts} {8-Clubs}. A queen on the turn gave Aldridge a lock on the hand and the pot.

Firestone's Gone!

The stunning reversal of fortune is complete for Bobby Firestone. He raised to 26,000 preflop from the button and was called by Bryn Kenney from the big blind.

The flop came down {5-Spades} {3-Spades} {6-Hearts}. Kenney checked to Firestone, who followed up with a bet of 40,000. Kenney check-raised to 105,000, then watched as Firestone jammed all in for 400,000. With {9-Spades} {6-Spades}, top pair and a flush draw, it wasn't much of a decision. Kenney called and was delighted to see Firestone turn over {4-Diamonds} {3-Hearts}, bottom pair and a straight draw. The {Q-Hearts} turn and {6-Clubs} river didn't improve Firestone; he's out!

The tournament is now at the final two tables and re-drawing.
