A Game of Chicken

Sometimes in poker, he who moves last moves best. Making the pressure bet in a hand can get an opponent to go away. We watched with interest as Bryce Yockey opened from the button for 57,000 and Carman Cavella re-raised the small blind to 155,000. Once Ken Aldridge folded the big blind, Yockey raised again to 350,000.

Not to be outdone, Cavella responded by moving all in for 1,371,000 more. That was the pressure bet in the hand that eventually caused Yockey to fold. Perhaps to put in a dig at Yockey, Cavella showed the {5-Hearts}.
