Kotula Can't Seem to Gain Momentum

Christopher Reider and Jonathan Kotula built a pot of about 30,000 preflop and saw a flop of {2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{A-Hearts}. Both players checked as the turn came {A-Spades}. Once again both players checked to the river, which was the {3-Clubs}.

Kotula bet out 14,000 and was quickly called by Reider, who turned over {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}. Kotula mucked and Reider took down the pot.

Kotula, who won this event in 2008, has been bleeding chips and is down to about 55,000.
