"Unbelievable"

With the table reading {5-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}, Charles Tidmarsh moved all in for his remaining 25,200 chips.

[Removed:297] was unhappy with the shove, but eventually called with {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}. Tidmarsh quickly tabled {6-Hearts}{6-Spades} for a turned set.

"Unbelievable," Wenigwieser groaned. "It is unbelievable how bad I play."

The river was paint, but it wasn't a king nor was it a club and Wenigwieser fell to 23,000 chips. Tidmarsh now sits with 51,000 chips.

Yang Hanged

We walked up to the table too late to see how the chips went in, but Jerry Yang was at risk with {A-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} against Karl Fenton's {A-Clubs} {3-Hearts} when we joined the action.

We're guessing the money went in on the flop, but either way, the board of {9-Clubs} {A-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {2-Clubs} was unkind to the former world champ. He's been eliminated, and Fenton moves his way up over 150,000.

Lindgren Done in By an Ace on the River

Erick Lindgren got his last ~30,000 chips into the pot preflop with pocket kings, and he was in good shape to double up when Taylor Paur called him down with {A-Diamonds} {J-Spades}.

Lindgren was still in good shape after the dealer dealt four cards on board, but an ace on the river sent him packing in three-out fashion.

Paur is up to 110,000 now.

Jungblut Busts, Solis Avoids Disaster

Brett Jungblut opened for a raise to around 5,000 from under the gun and Jake "TheMuffin" Solis called directly behind. The action folded to Waylon Frey on the button who moved all in for around 40,000.

Jungblut called all in, and Solis flashed two jacks before folding.

Frey: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}
Jungblut: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

The board ran {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds} eliminating Jungblut from the tournament and Frey's stack now sits at 85,000 chips.

Dunst Done

In early position, Joseph Brattole came into the pot with a raise before Tony Dunst three-bet it back at him. Brattole came back over the top, and Dunst committed all of his ~35,000 chips to the pot, turning over {A-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}. He was in bad shape against his opponent's {A-Spades} {K-Spades}, and things would not improve for him.

The dealer ran out a board of {5-Hearts} {8-Clubs} {6-Spades} {5-Spades} {9-Clubs}, missing everyone and holding Brattole's kicker. He's knocked off Dunst, moving his way up to 132,000 in the process.

Big River Bet by ElkY

Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier opened to 4,500 on the button, the small blind released and the big blind defended.

Both players checked the {8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop, and after the {9-Spades} turned the big blind led for 6,300. Grospellier called and the turn brought another nine; the {9-Hearts}.

The player in the big blind led for 10,000 and Grospellier quickly moved all in for 31,000 more. His opponent released and Grospellier was awarded the pot increasing his stack to 62,000 chips.

Young Doubles Opponent

"I'm not spewing," Jason Young informed us. "My jacks are just getting beat by queen-five."

Young told us that an opponent at his table open-shoved for 23,500 and that Young woke up with {J-}{J-} in the big blind and made the call. The flop was clean, only containing one club, but obviously the turn and river came club, club.

Young's stack is depleted a bit, he's still sitting with 106,000 chips.

Grenon With Envy

Nathan Doudney was all in for about 60,000 before the flop against Joseph Grenon, and the two men were flipping a coin for a pretty sizable pot.

Grenon's {Q-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} was a slight favorite against Doudney's {A-Clubs} {K-Spades}, and he would hold on a board of {J-Clubs} {4-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {9-Spades} {6-Spades}. That send Doudney out of the tournament, and it chipped Grenon up to... well, up to some number. He didn't have time to stack it, and we didn't have time to count it before he was involved in another pot on the very next hand.

Grenon and Casey Jarzabek took a heads-up flop of {J-Diamonds} {7-Spades} {8-Spades}. Jarzabek got himself all in with just {A-Hearts} {K-Hearts}, and Grenon put him to the test with {10-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}. The turn {5-Hearts} and river {8-Diamonds} didn't change anything, and Grenon has notched back-to-back eliminations on two consecutive hands.

His chip stack has seen the benefits of those knockouts, vaulting him all the way up into second place with 252,000.
