Erik Seidel Eliminated in 14th Place ($4,404)

Erik Seidel - 14th Place
Erik Seidel - 14th Place

Action folded to Erik Seidel in the cutoff, and he open-shoved for 18,500. Sean Snyder called from the big blind and stood pat. Seidel needed to catch a card. Snyder tabled {j-}{10-}{8-}{7-}{2-}, and Seidel had plenty of outs drawing to a {9-}{5-}{4-}{3-}. Unfortunately, the {q-} wasn't one of them, and one of the field's most respected pros was eliminated in 14th place. He'll have to wait for another event to win his ninth WSOP bracelet.

After busting Seidel, Snyder was up to 116,000.
