Schmelev Taking Charge
It's been a heck of a World Series for Russian Vladimir Schmelev. He finished runner-up in the $50,000 Player's Championship and then placed seventh in the $10,000 Seven Card Stud World Championship. If you check out the chip count page, you'll see his name at the top of the board and it looks like we're going to have to start getting used to his name. It's only the eleventh day at the 2010 WSOP and alredy this guy is making himself well known around the Rio.
